My boyfriend and I met and hungout with Aileen and her girlfriend😳 It was 1990 in Pensacola,Fl. It was summer , we were staying in a seedy hotel for a few weeks. Aileen was gone out all day and would come back around dark. Her girlfriend would sit outside during the day in the breezeway outside of the rooms. I joined her several times drinking beer while she waited for Aileen to get back. They both were cheerful and seemed happy. Didn’t give off a bad vibe at all. The girlfriend was slower and seemed to be content doing much of nothing during the daytime:)

Yes I can confirm that in Norway we have something called “påskekrim” (translated into Easter crime). We usually have it when we say that it’s Easter and not just on the Thursday before.
I know another Norwegian who says that in Norway, Easter is when you go to your cabin and ski. Now we learn about påskerim. Where I come from, we, like, go to church and eat dinner.
"I have hate running through my veins." It's just.... sad. How she lived and died, without even finding peace and recovery from all the trauma and bad things she's gone through. We sometimes forget how lucky we are to live normally. The world is so unfair.
I have a hard time seeing her as a “monster”. I think she was severely mentally ill and set up to fail from the beginning. It’s just sad what happened to her. While what she did was obviously very wrong, I can’t help but see her as a victim in her own right.
I wonder if her grandfather did the same things with her mother. Maybe if she had dumped them at an orphanage instead it somehow would have come out differently
ana123apple I think we could all use the what if’s but at the end of the day she did what she did and I’m NOT saying she deserved to die but again 6 lives were taken
Sara Ghoul but at the end of the day analyzing these cases is all about the what if’s. What went wrong, why did this person became this way and how to avoid it in case similar situations arise. After the case is solved all that is left is the speculation.
I cant imagine growing up like this, she probably had so much rage built up. She was probably miserable all the time. She was definitely in the wrong, but I cant help but feel sorry for her.
As soon as you said her mother was married at 14, I knew her grandfather was an abuser. I kind of hate her mom for dumping them with their grandparents. She knew what would happen to them.
tbh I dont really know how to think about this. Cuz at the same time, i feel bad for the mom as well. Maybe she couldnt bring herself to place her children in another place. idk. Anyways, I still think its wrong
She is definitely a victim in my eyes. I can't believe how her parents, grandparents, and the justice system failed her. I wish people would treat kids with love and love only, or don't have them at all. People are a product of their experiences. I feel horrible for the victims also. Just a sad situation all around.
She was a victim of her own environment. Never had a chance at a normal existence. Then she was exploited, the state of Florida made an example out of her, and then she was sentenced to death. A truly sad and horrific story
Meanwhile, they let women like Casey Anthony off scott free, despite the mountain of irrefutable evidence proving that she killed her child...the justice system for ya.
Aileen is one of those killers that I feel sorry for. Her childhood was horrendous. She was pregnant at 13, had son at 14. She didn't move out. She was kicked out. I used to work with Bonnie Schafer's (former owner of Claire's) sister in law. Her name is Sherry. She was a bartender at The Last Resort and was there when Aileen was arrested.
Everyones talking about the story, So may i just say, OMFG This Eyeshadow Look Is EVERYTHING I cannot stop staringgg at her face! I love this Look By Farrrr
In my opinion what you put in the universe you get back like how many criminals have horrible upbringings then you commit crimes and turn into horrible people what I'm saying its a cause and effect thing hope it makes sense 😊
I honestly believe that Eileen never stood a chance. She was abused by every male she came into contact with and, by the time she hit puberty, she had known just about every horror able to to be committed by men on to women. She honestly tried for a better life but she was so broken and humiliated, fear and hate were the only tangible things in her life. No, she shouldn't have died. Nor should her family, or others, been able to ruin that little girl's life. I have always felt for her and wish that she had had just one person in her corner. It may well have saved her, and the men that fell to her wrath.
A lot of these people had horrible childhoods and that just warns parent how they should act around children and that you're there biggest influence o how they will turn out when their older.

It’s so sad that when she decided to be honest they just tried to call her crazy. Could you imagine the pain this woman lived with every single day. I wouldn’t want to carry on either.
Aileen's story is so heartbreaking to me. Even in the very end, you could tell that she was suicidal and happy to die after a lifetime of pain and causing pain. What a tragedy.
That's a reasonable idea for why she did what she did, & Aileen probably brought up her background during her stay with police. But, at the time she was doing all of this, the age difference wasn't as egregious as when she was younger.
As someone who was homeless for years, getting arrested to go to jail and have a roof over your head, a bed and 3 squares is absolutely what happens. Especially on weekends, a minor jaywalking offense on Friday could give you room and board til Monday at least.
Yeah, it’s just so hard for me to sympathize with someone like her when I know the heinous things she’s done to other people. It’s such a conflict in my brain. It’s like... aww, her life from birth was unimaginably terrible. At the same time that’s no excuse to do the things she did, but how do you blame someone for that when her entire life has just been an absolute nightmare? 🤔😫☹️
No she didn't and that's what a lot of ppl don't understand. Obviously she should of gotten in trouble but not the death penalty! It was like the system failed her for one last time😢
Definitely a victim and perpetrator. I feel for her more than any other. She probably truly felt like she was defending herself. Likely felt like she was defending herself from her grandfather over and over again. What she did was wrong, absolutely. She was just failed over and over again!
I was watching one of your videos earlier and my grandma went by and said "It's the lady who does her makeup and tells a spooky story." Me: "Yeah, Bailey Sarian" My grandma: "I check in on her every now and then"
I remember one of her interviews with a guy name Nick; this went all the way up to her death. In those interviews you get a real inside of Aileen, in some she wants to be serious, it's like she's telling the truth but the interviewer would bring something she said in past interviews or question like he wasn't believing sometimes in a way "laughing at her" to which she'll turn cut the interview short or say she's joking and make "something" up. It's actually heartbreaking because no one would listen to her, everyone already had their mind made up going in. But she mentioned with a upbringing like that who would love her, give her a chance ect. She loved Ty though and what Ty did was it for her, "proved" to her what she always believed. Towards the end she knew she want getting no where. It's just heartbreaking all together.
Aileen's story always makes me cry, especially the end. Of course she wanted the death penalty, Ty was all she had and Ty betrayed her. She didn't have anything to live for at that point.
She could've been so beautiful. I bet her mother had the same life she did growing up. Generational horror. It's so sad and so sickening what men think is acceptable to do to women
What happened to her is tragic, but I think it's horrible that her mom left her there knowing what could happen. But if her mom didn't have that happen to her (not likely) then it's really sad that what she (the mom) thought was the right thing to do ended up pushing her daughter towards this.
The grandpa that abused Aileen would have been her mother’s father so it is likely that she was abused in a similar way. We will never know for sure, though. Sad case all around.
I have a cat named CueBall so every time you said “throw a cue ball at the bar tenders head” all I could imagine is my cat flying through a bar at the bar tender. 😂

if I was ever a criminal I would want Bailey to cover my story because she has a way of making the person heard and both of the sides are always told with Bailey.
Yes, her life is written on her face. She always looked so much older and so worn down. I guess she was tired of existing and that's why she said she wanted to die.
She was failed by everyone, her family, the system and men. She needed help, and did not deserve what she received. I've always felt so, so sad for her 💜 Edit : Thanks for the likes 😊 totally unexpected
@@peppatea6821 definitely not. But she didn't deserve the way she was treated by society etc. She was failed completely from the day she was born , to the moment she died
It is always so sobering to me to hear about the horrific upbringing so many of the people who commit these heinous crimes had, but then when there are photos of them with their families, they are all just smiling and look put together and happy. It just reminds me that you never know what is truly going on in someone’s life because of the appearance they put on for the outside, whether in person or on social media. I mean, as a child, she was being brutalized and tortured and completely demoralized, but in pics of her and her family, who could tell?? So sad! I am a teacher and try to keep this in mind with every interaction I have with my students and always try to let them know they have a safe place with me if they need anything.
I felt so sad when the interviewer reminded her that she was betrayed (i guess by her girlfriend) and Aileen said that's the reason she wouldn't care if she left this world :( Hope she got the peace she wanted and deserved

At no point did anybody ever step in to save her from her awful abuse throughout her formative years. She grew up totally abused and abandoned by all the men and women in her life who were supposed love and protect her. It’s no wonder she was done with humanity and embraced the death penalty.

I think her plan was to get caught so the she would get the death penalty. She was so careless when she took the victims, leaving evidence everywhere. 100% . Makes you wonder why more isn’t done.
Exactly peoplefor some reason tend to separate the child from the adult!!!!!!

I was looking for an answer thank you lol.
Why???
That sounds amazing. Needs to be introduced internationally.
I know another Norwegian who says that in Norway, Easter is when you go to your cabin and ski. Now we learn about påskerim. Where I come from, we, like, go to church and eat dinner.
Tell us more 😳🙊

It's just....
Same here. I think Society failed Aileen.
I wonder if her grandfather did the same things with her mother. Maybe if she had dumped them at an orphanage instead it somehow would have come out differently

Off topic but we got the same pfp
As soon as you said her mother was married at 14, I knew her grandfather was an abuser. I kind of hate her mom for dumping them with their grandparents. She knew what would happen to them.
tbh I dont really know how to think about this. Cuz at the same time, i feel bad for the mom as well. Maybe she couldnt bring herself to place her children in another place. idk. Anyways, I still think its wrong
Wasn't her grandfather also her dad?
How old was her mom when she dropped off the kids? I missed it but she had to have still been practically a child 😭
her mother was a child as well if anyone should be blamed its her grandfather period.... the system failed Aileen HORRIBLY.
She is definitely a victim in my eyes. I can't believe how her parents, grandparents, and the justice system failed her. I wish people would treat kids with love and love only, or don't have them at all. People are a product of their experiences. I feel horrible for the victims also. Just a sad situation all around.
stacram87 I think she was a victim turned monster :/
Plus if you are unable to properly see about one do not go on to make more c'mon
what happened to her doesn’t justify what she did
100% absolutely
agree
She was a victim of her own environment. Never had a chance at a normal existence. Then she was exploited, the state of Florida made an example out of her, and then she was sentenced to death. A truly sad and horrific story
Meanwhile, they let women like Casey Anthony off scott free, despite the mountain of irrefutable evidence proving that she killed her child...the justice system for ya.
It hurts my heart that some children have to grow up like this. I wish I could protect them
Aileen is one of those killers that I feel sorry for.

Unfortunately most people who commit such crimes did have a horrible upbringing. It’s no excuse but it is a cycle.
Agreed, it’s really sad tbh
Like I can’t empathize but at the same time i kinda can
I'm of the opinion that if there were easily accessible resources for those who can't afford them then there would be significantly less crime.
In my opinion what you put in the universe you get back like how many criminals have horrible upbringings then you commit crimes and turn into horrible people what I'm saying its a cause and effect thing hope it makes sense 😊
Nature vs nurture
At least this one ended with her. As sad and awful as her life was
I honestly believe that Eileen never stood a chance.
@@thesunshinegirl_1343 I think if you are bullied and you have a strong support system and family at home you should be fine.
All the men she killed seem to be really similar to her grandpa and his friends who assaulted her as a child
That is exactly what I thought too, like she was subconsciously getting revenge.
tawanna S yesss tjsr was going through my head. Like these are all old men yk ! Maybe it’s a rage she has towards older men.
That's a reasonable idea for why she did what she did, & Aileen probably brought up her background during her stay with police. But, at the time she was doing all of this, the age difference wasn't as egregious as when she was younger.
True!!!!
Kinda like some episodes from criminal minds 😱😱😱
I can’t bring myself to hate this woman. She never even really had a chance
Right?? With that much trauma?
Many people go through alot in their childhood and don't take lives. I have no sympathy for this woman.
I have sympathy for the child that was treated so badly, but the choices she made as an adult are inexcusable.

Kai Johnston LOVE THE MOVIE!!

Yes, her life is written on her face. She always looked so much older and so worn down. I guess she was tired of existing and that's why she said she wanted to die.
