    Converge is not metalcore, it's hardcore. Metalcore is a sub-genre of emo.

      @@ShuffleBloodyShuffle Emo is a sub-genre of power pop -- think of bands like Weezer and Fountains of Wayne, Jimmy Eat World, Sum-41. It's pop punk adjacent, but isn't pop punk, the same way metalcore sounds like metal but isn't actually metal.
