still remember meeting Matt in Barcelona, a few years ago. He was great and very nice. He spent more than 1 hour, outside their bus, in the rain, signing autographs and taking fotos with the fans. that's how I got the chance to meet him. great great guy!! 👍👍👏👏🙌🙌

I can completely relate to Matt here. I’ve had so many failures in music and with persistence , I finally broke through and made it somewhere in my local city and now fixing to promote to bigger things. Before that, I had to fail over and over and go through the worst and best musicians.

Never met Matt, but I met Paolo in Milwaukee back when I was... 15? He chilled with us out in the parking lot and discussed their upcoming album (The Crusade) at the time and it is one of my most memorable experiences in life. I looked up to Trivium ( and still do ) and this solidified their meaning in my life. To know that someone like Paolo would take 20 minutes out of his day to hang out and talk with a few young teenagers after he just got done busting on stage.. it really stuck with me. Thanks for everything you've meant to me in my life, Trivium!

Seeing this made me want to work harder on my novel. Your music has helped me through a lot, as well even help my own creative side. "Kirisute Gomen" even gave birth to an entire character for my novel, and listening to your other songs helped mold that character, as well as many other parts of the novel. That's pretty much how my creative side works by listening to music to help me keep focus.
So yes, thank you Matt for keeping me inspired all these years. I could go on for much longer how much you have, but I have to catch a movie. Thank you

Matt you've been a huge inspiration to me since I discovered Trivium somewhere around 2006. I was about 14 at the time, learning all of your songs from Ascendency and especially Shogun. Now I play acoustic guitar in my own style but I just wanted to say thank you for the years of inspiration. Glad to see you guys achieving even greater levels of success, and you passing on your learned lessons. Wishing you and your family well where you're at right now!

scream no band write poems myself and more

Just watched for my third time and I keep taking more and more away from it. Matt, you were clear and concise and I know how tough public speaking can be (even if you're the front man for one of the biggest metal bands on earth, we're all human.) Your story is inspirational. The personal and even the overall band growth is something to truly take hold of. Ever since I heard "Pull Harder..." back in '05 I've been hooked. Keep up the amazing albums, the streaming games, the incredible covers, and the delicious cuisine. Met you a couple years ago in Sioux City and was blown away by how down to earth you and the guys all are. Keep those horns held high. Looking forward to seeing you guys again. Stay true, my friend.

I got into your music from my Manager at Taco Bell which I'm still working at but also my Manager looks like you sometimes to but skinnier and every morning when I come in for work your musics always playing in the back of the store with his speakers. I would like to meet you someday. I see some fans around this small town. Only famous people we get are Hollywood celebs which is kinda lame now. But your cool. so stay cool. stay metal. \m/
