you should definitely do a top 5 from any brand you’ve tried out and not just categorized directly on babyliss. Love the babyliss ranking’s don’t get me wrong but I would just love to see your top 5 from many of the other brands lol

I can’t decide between the lopro fx and the gold fx wich I saw on Walmart . The use is for my bald head . (Don’t like shavers) . Planning on cofing it to almost zero gap .

Either one would be fine they’re very similar. Same blades just different shape bodies
I can honestly say that the boosted+ trimmer is by and far the best trimmer I’ve ever owned. I got the blue chrome one with the rubber grip and absolutely love it. It does get a little loud but it’s totally worth it
Oil the blade slide and keep lithium grease on the cam follower where the pinion moves the blade. If you do that it will never get loud. I got a 3 year old gold fx that still 🤫!!

yeah man, those skeleton fx's (both the og's & the boost) are my absolute favorites! ...for me personally, slap a deep tooth 2.0 blade on em & lets rock! enjoyed the video, thanx

Hey dude, great vid. Looking at getting trimmer to use to give myself fades. Was considering getting the fx3 as I heard good things about it, but now I'm wondering if I should get the boost+. I have thicker than usual hair and am also aware the fx3 are super powerful, but was gonna just open the blades so it's not zero gap. I also don't have any experience using trimmer as I only use clippers. Maybe I'm better off getting the boost+? I will also be getting a haver.
Yeah boost + is a solid choice
Hi Sean, I bought the boost+ with the dlc 2.0 blade but I find it too sharp on my sensitive skin (with zero gap I often bleed!). Did you also find this blade too aggressive? Can you recommend a less sharp blade? Thanks!
I never noticed it being too aggressive. If it is just back it off a little
Can you use the metal fx charging dock with the grip textured black fx, I know they have one that comes it a dual pack but I just want the black fx trimmer with a charging doc
I’m not 100% sure. The rubber grips are a little thicker but it may work
I've always paid someone to maintain my long beard but want to get into doing it myself. What would you recommend to handle just about everything from shaping to lineup?
Barbers really use a clipper and a trimmer for all of that. Unlike most home trimmers that do both. So I don’t have a suggestion for just one but the influencer lo pro bundle is affordable and a great set up
What would be your favorite blade on the skeleton fx trimmers for beard and neck outline? I have the silver skeleton and it came with the graphite 2.0 blade. Thank you
I like the fine tooth fx707z (gold) or fx707b (graphite)

You highly rate the boost in both the trimmer and clipper videos but mention not liking the blade in both… What blades do you recommend for each?

Why is the Babyliss Boost trimmer that price?? , should I get the fx or boost?. The boost has 670 reviews and the fx has around 16,000, i dont know which one to get, it seems of that it is only a 5 dls difference and idk if i should trust it, thank you!!
The boost is upgraded and newer that’s why it has less reviews. Honestly both are good I’d decide based on color. The rubber grip is nice on the boost though
Hi the babyliss boost runs at 7200RPM and the Green Lo pro run at 6800RPM. Will there be a noticeable difference in power or is that very minimal? Thanks!

I haven’t used any of the ConAir trimmers
@Seancutshair would be a cool comparison. If you look at the ConAir website their metallic trimmer even says "BabylissMen" on their pictures

Fx3 is a totally unique set. Don’t know what the silver pro is

Any would do fine. Probably the skeleton would be my best recommendation. Fx3 would be possibly too sharp
