Do bit of CAPM study material on online , could find some mock tests before testing your knowledge, but will be easy if you got the head in project management.. Mostly it's project manager thinking and actions he/she will took in those scenarios. Good luck 😀
Hi Ajit - Personally, I think it depends on your career goals. But others have mentioned they found the google PM as a good review before the CAPM. Good luck!
Hey Emma, I hope you are good. I just wanna know that I chose project management course as my further study so what kind of skills( in terms of technical ) I should have like MS office or something? I didn't found any info on internet regarding that. All people says about tool but they are on advance level I guess so, could you please tell me little bit more about that? It would be great help to me Thanks. Warm regards 🤗
Hi Joe -I'd need to deep dive the cert/information before I could give an educated opinion. I can add it to my list of video ideas for the future! What's your opinion on it?
@@RecipeforSuccess1 I see videos comparing Google's Project Management Certification with the PMP and honestly think it is an unfair comparison given the PMP is essentially the "Gold Standard" certification for Project Management and not an "entry level" certification. There are also work experience and education requirements that are prerequisites for the PMP. I've been looking for an honest assessment between Google's Project Management certificate and CompTIA's Project+. From what I've read, each seem to be in line with starting out in Project Management and neither have any prerequisites. On a personal level, I'm looking at both of these certifications for professional development at work as a Sales Engineer. I'm inclined to earning the Google Project Management certificate first as it seems to be more "entry level" and then go for the CompTIA Project+. Just my thoughts...
As someone who has worked in projects, I find it comical to see people in other videos saying AI would replace all the job duties of even a PM. Sure maybe it would help us write emails faster, find files easier, but do the human element of the job and travel to job sites if you're working in construction? Nope.
This week I shall complete my Google Project Management course on Coursera ✌🏼..
Love the videos as always, so helpful for upcoming project managers
Congrats! I hope you have some fun plans to celebrate!
And PM jobs can be fully remote as well and also involve some travel depending on the industry. Win-win.
Totally agree!
Some good info and good to see a positive outlook on the industry. Thanks for sharing Emma.
Thanks for watching! Glad you found it as interesting as I did!
Thanks for the video
No problem!
Do you suggest going for CAPM certification, immediately after doing google project management?

Too true - people often overlook the communication and relationship aspect of project management!
