Ah that trip to the real rally stage did sound like a disaster but at least the Tamiya performed well. You can get a Kamtec chassis cover for the TT-01 and TT-02 rally cars to keep the stones out. I have done a little video on that very product which will be out tomorrow on my channel if you're interested. Nice vid as ever :-)
Sounds like the ideal video to watch after this one. Pity your video wasn’t out before we went, would have saved us from finding half a ton of crush and run in the chassis 🛻🪨🪨
@@RCsoandso It's always a problem with RC rally cars and the chassis cover really helps. It could probably do with mud guards too so the dirt doesn't cake the inside of the body shell. You start to realise why most RC's have the wheels poking out of the sides of the body where they just fling the mud as passers by :-)
I love WRC but I don't know what channel plays it anymore that I have on my cable if I can even play it because I might not have it in my setup we have to pay more for it and I don't want that.
This one is TT01, I would like to run it against a TT02 but the one I’m building will be more a street racer. But who knows I might figure something out 👌
Tt01 for me I think the tt01 chassis compliments the rally terrain and handles superbly, I’ve just ordered some slightly bigger rally block tyres to give more ground clearance and will look at better shocks in the future for it
@@chiefengineer4330 just got a tt02. The toa 2 chassis is good for rally if u can get hold of it . The Lancia 037 has it . U can get good clearance on it.
Lovely car and rally action.
It is a fetching motor and I’m glad you liked the action 🎥
Jeez howd i miss this one
Currently discussing the second stage of the rally 🏁🚙🍾

Mud flinging, it does sound like a real rally stage 🚘
Great idea on the chassis cover Pete I’ll check it out 👍
My TT02 also has the same problem after driving loads of small stones inside 👍🏻
It does seem you go home with most of a National Park in your chassis 😆
Nice work well done looks good 👍
The purple works really well, suits it 👌
I would love to see someone make 10th scale versions of all the tracks that are raced on today.
Rally or Circuit Track? I guess you could do Circuit with that large extendable hose stuff?
@@RCsoandso every rally and circuit track they used to do scca racing on TV here too which is rally here.
Hi there, niiiiiiice video man, are those pogo stick shocks or oil filled cva’s.
I have a feeling they are pogo sticks. I will double check with the Cheif Engineer 👍
Their pogo sticks that came in the kit as standard, their pretty good for what they are but maybe upgrade in the future

It is not often on the Telly here either.
Saw the grey good movie.
Good all the way through ✈️
Tto1 or 2 for rally ?

You know those were tarmac tires.
You will have to ask the Cheif Engineer about that, I think he has got some replacements to go with the new driveshaft 💸
Didn’t have time to wait for the new rally block tyres to turn up from China, it did well on those considering the terrain changed so much
I like a lot of morissette.
😐
She owes me a new pair of trainers, they melted when I had my feet up on an old electric fire while a fell asleep drunk listening to her first album
Canadian Angst Pop is not for me
It's great music and anyways her new stuff isn't angst anymore.
"Intended for track use only"
Nobody's gonna listen to that bullshit Tamiya. It's a rally car.
It seems to love the muck and mess a rally stage gives it. You can get chassis bags, but it’s only mud, it won’t do that much damage 🤣😂👍
