My blitzer beetle has a 6000kv brushless motor and hobbywing 120a esc running 2s lipo. Now that is fun to drive. Wheelies and lots of power and speed 😊

Ah I was wondering how an intro about the railways would lead into a Blitzer Beetle video and of course it's the famous leaves on the line. You would think that they could attach a couple of spatulas to the front of the train or something 🤔 Anyway the Blitzer coped well with its mini spike tyres. Good stuff guys 😁

Awesome job on this mates!!!! I do wish Tamiya would re-re those other "Blitzer" kits as I like the trucks better... These are stronger than people give them credit for... My kid, when he was about 10-12, beat the living day light out of his and never broke a thing.. Don't forget I'm doing a kit re-homing so jump on in. No space for one of these fantastic-looking kits, so I added Blitzer Beetle wheels & tyres (and a mad bull shell) to my DT-03. Now I'm having second thoughts about putting the DT-03 wheels back on.

I think Tamiya should put the beetle shell on the TD2 & TD4 chassis's.

Great video. This was my first rc as an adult, well well into to adult finding my childhood again. I have a few tamiyas and a few arrma. But each time I take my blitzed out it is probably the one that puts the biggest smile on my face. Such a great car

The Blitzer Beetle is such a fun rig, I love mine dearly. It has love cracks all over the body and will soon need a new shell. I'm still figuring out which theme to go for.

Awesome footage! Blitzer beetle runs so well. Mine is a shelf queen and I really wish Tamiya can re-release stadium blitzer so I can have a basher of this awesome chassis. The beetle shell is just too pretty to thrash around with. For some reason the more modern version aqroshot just does nothing for me…I can’t stand looking at the front end of that body haha…

The Blitzer Beetle is a really fun and just makes you smile while watching it run around! It will take more than mushy brown leaves to slow it down!!!

Say, is that there a very young Martyn Poliakoff where you mention ‘bucket science’? It certainly looks like The Prof in his younger days.

It’s massive fun that rarely gets tiresome, it’s got an amazing body that can act as a canvas to the artistically inclined and it’s as cheap as a chip butty, more or less :) :) They’re simple enough that kids can build and fix them with a tiny bit of guidance too. In fact, I’m sure Tamiya could work up a deal with schools to give a few away. Not only would it be an excellent marketing strategy (invigorating old gits like me to relive a bit of my youth) and it’d do wonders for the hobby, making them a lot of future business I expect. I first got one at the age of 9-10ish, I built it myself pretty much, with my dad looking on (I’m pretty sure he wanted to build it really and was a bit disappointed when I did it) and it’d get kids away from their dreaded mobile devices/consoles and eventually get ‘em back outside again. I think a wonky plan is forming here :) :) I still buy one or two a year, mainly because I’m always giving them away to mates’ kids and such. Which looks like a grand gesture from their good old Uncle L, but it’s purely selfish - so I can buy, mess about with and paint another one. I’ve lost count of how many I’ve had over the years but there’ll be more… :) It really is the best RC for any age I’d reckon. Cracking video

They used to film the horse racing using a Citroen because it had a smooth ride for filming. Sure it was on Top Gear at some time. Tamiya DT-03 Camera shot.

Hey good idea to have a car which is specifically for the camera and that is rather more suited to the job than the Dump Truck which as you say, falls over even without a camera attached to the top. Nice to remember those summer days which seam a long way off now. Great stuff guys 👍👍

Ah a nice sunny, warm and bright upload from an unlikely source to brighten up our day in the grim depths of the UK winter!! 😊 Absolutely delightful piece of engineering lads,very well thought out indeed! A camera car needs to be smooth,stable,fast,and maneuverable.....as well as having a decent camera fitted to avoid that jello effect! All boxes ticked here. ✅ The hard part is synchronising the two drivers.....its far easier being the leader than the chase/camera car!! Anticipating where the lead car will turn or brake next at high speeds always results in carnage.....or at least thats what us amateurs at Greenhawks have always found!! Possibly the professionals like yourselves have a lot more skill at hand on this front?! 😉 Great upload,cheers for sharing. 😊 👍 👍

Ok, that looks like a very well done camera car! Nice and low, wide stance and good suspension to get some nice steady shots! It looks pretty coo ripping around too!

I made a camera car out of a King Yellow. Worked great, but unfortunately, I'm unable to drive both cars at once. 😢

What you need now, is a 360° servo and spare channel so you can rotate the camera while driving. 👍👍

Very nice guys and a great spot to run your Beetle. I must admit that when I saw that you had the lights on the roof I thought they would last until the first rollover but how wrong I was. I think that the soft sand was quite forgiving. Best wishes 👍👍

As an RC fan this video came up on my feed. But I watched it because it said Ross on Sea. Very familiar with the area and Colwyn Bay too, although sadly the beach there has been ruined in my opinion. Have been visiting the area since 1980. Have walked along the prom and beach there 100’s of times and as a child climbed all over the rock water break you can see in the distance.

Hey guys, great talky bit! Hey, there is no future for EV’s the future is Hydrogen. Just not enough battery materials for the whole world to own EV’s. Also the charging network is crazy unreliable. Also owners are dangerous in the EV’s as they drive to eke out every mile at a ruddy slow speed, then along comes us in our petrol / diesel’s whizzing past giving them the bird for being a menace! Very nice! I have a load of vinyl, still have a few great tapes and all my CDs still. I may have issues holding onto things... LOL!! It was great seeing MB out ripping around in the sand!!
