I remember watching Carry On films as a child and assuming that when I became an unattractive middle aged man I would be copping off with attractive women half my age. Well I am that man now and can confirm that they sold us an unrealistic dream 🙁 Anyway nice run with the King (Queen) Yellow. I think that these run best on a slippery surface where it will slide rather than roll over. Great stuff guys 😁
Oh I’m sure it’s more of not finding the right situation, get yourself some ingrowing toenails or lost in the jungle and I’m sure you’ll be worn out! I agree the 6 wheelers are better in the wet 👍
Nice run as always. And smiling on your intro. Two thoughts: We've a similar channel here. It's called 3sat. On some hollidays the show the whole day concerts. So my New Years Eve schedule's synchroniced to that. Annoying the family😂. Coach travelling would be much easier at that time than driving to Italy in a Beetle and having more problems to cross the Alps than Hannibal.😁 Have a great weekend.
I remember when we used to drive through Germany and Austria to get to Italy, the holiday felt like it would only start when you hot to the Brenner Pass 👍
I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I have a certain fondness of vintage coaches..... The coaches of the 50s, 60s and early 70s with their rounded curves, chrome detailing, sliding windows and netted luggage racks had so much personality. We used to go to primary school on some proper vintage ones, and as a youngling I made detailed models of them all! 😂 Yours looked cool out there on the grass.... And looked like it got some attention from the bystanders! I would be concerned about driving through the odd k9 land mine in a place like that..... 💩 👍 👍 👍
Those type of coaches always make me think of National Express by the Devine Comedy, but that then takes me on a ‘My lovely horse’ rabbit hole. Luckily it had been mowed earlier so I think the council dealt with most of the doggy plop plops, if we do see any in the future I’ll box them up and see if they will fit in your Holiday Buggy 🤣🤣💩👍
@@RCsoandso My lovely horse🐴! "we need to loose that sax solo Dougal" 😂 😅 🤣 Awesome episode, and if I remember correctly it was quite appropriately a channel 4 production wasn't it? Which nicely links back round to the intro of your video. I haven't watched channel 4 in years as I no longer have a TV licence, but back in the day before all this PC nonsense it certainly had some funny comedies. And yes...... Any Mr Hanky donations are always appreciated ,just post them in a brown paper bag through Taylors letterbox. 💩 If we get enough interest we could always host a 'lovely poo' competion to raise funds for the channel! 😂 😅 🤣 👍 👍 👍
Hey gentlemen, a great looking G6-01 😊😊I loved the referencing to Carry On At Your Convenience 😂😂😂 I suppose the corny Carry On series appealed to us, shall I say, slightly older generation, because when we were growing up, times were hard and money very tight. Holidays abroad were not something us Brits could really afford, unless your parents were well off! 😂😂 still from what I’ve heard, the cast of the Carry On crew weren’t paid very well, typical of Peter Rogers to ensure their contracts were unscrupulous to say the least. 😊best wishes to you and the family 🖐️😉😎
I think at one point they were pumping out 2 carry ons a year, the heady days of Pinewood, when you could be in 6 films a week. I’d love to have gone round the prop department, proper treasure trove 🤔👍
@@RCsoandso funny you should mention. I was an engineer once (fastest Astra Van in the South!) and I performed an installation for Warner Bros at Pinewood Studios and had a wonder around, you’ll be amazed at what the sets are made of…any materials that 5hey can get their hands on 🖐️😉😎
@@RCsoandso definitely a lot of materials around for the various James Bonds sets, didn’t see any DB5’s though, although thinking about it, it probably would get out the Pinewood Studio gates, before breaking down anyway 😆😎😆have a good weekend 🖐️😉😎
I love watching the 6x6s rumble around. They are more nimble than they look but do like to roll over and nap occasionally!
Should put some wheels on the roof maybe 🤔

♫ We all live in a yellow bus machine. A yellow bus machine. A yellow bus machine. ♫
Hmmm maybe we will take this to Liverpool 👍

Very nice fooling around. And now for some more challenging terrain!
It does do a good job but I agree it needs more of a challenge 🤔🤣👍
He should have made it a magic mystery tour bus.
Well maybe the next shell, we night this as is
Wonderful run about.
Good to stretch the old six wheeler 😂👍

I think so yes
