    Best video on Yellowstone. Y’all did a great job. It’s very detailed and helpful to those who have never visited.
    I am looking for your advice. We would be flying in from the east coast. We want to rent an Airbnb in Gardiner and also near Jackson Hole. We want to visit both Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. We will probably stay for 8 days total. My question is , would you fly in to one airport and depart at another. I know round trip airfares are usually cheaper but may not work for our itinerary. Thanks for any advice. Looking forward to future videos. Keep up the great work.

    We’re looking at going for our first time in July 2021. Coming from Texas, so we’re flying into Cody (best rates from Texas😉) and renting a car. We’ll have about 6 or 7 days in the park/parks (might hit Grand Teton, as well) and are thinking about hopping from place to place (hotels, Airbnb, etc.) love each couple of nights, starting and finishing in Cody. Any suggestions?

      Wow, this sounds incredible! I'm really putting a lot of energy into making an itinerary/guide that will work no matter where you're staying.
      Generally speaking, I would spend about 4 days in Yellowstone and 2-3 in Grand Teton.
      It's really a good idea to bounce around like you're thinking -- it will cut down on the driving time.
      Here's an idea for each day:
      Cody to Mammoth.
      Mammoth to Lamar Valley and back.
      Mammoth to West Yellowstone.
      West Yellowstone to Grand Teton.
      So, I'm still working out some guides, along with audio guides. Keep in touch. I hope your trip is AWESOME!

    Thinking of flying into Bozeman. How many days is goood to enjoy and maybe even go glacier national park

    • @WereintheRockies
      @WereintheRockies  3 года назад

      If it’s your first time, you should allow at least four days to see Yellowstone usually. Glacier is amazing but it is about 5 hours away. As with most parks, you can “do” Glacier in a day just by driving the going to the sun road, but obviously could spend much longer there.
