Go to Teton. Dubois is only 74 miles from Valley. Lander has sinks canyon. The pass over is amazing area.

I drive past earthquake lake but didn't understand why the trees was poking out. Well, kind of following Yellowstone pattern of things just changing in the park. I thought earthquake but didn't know it did all that.

When doing a rafting trip will they pick take you back?

Yes, as long as you are doing a guided boat ride. If you rent a raft without a tour guide, you will not have transportation back.
