We visited the Military Vehicle Museum today with your recommendation. Thank you! We were very impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the history that they are sharing for our veterans!
We also enjoyed some pie at the Cowboy Cafe!
Yay! Glad you had a great time.
We went to the Military Vehicles Museum per your suggestion. It did not disappoint. Commented on two videos today just to show my family’s appreciation. We did the Great American road trip! Kentucky-Badlands-Custer State Park-Mount Rushmore-Little Big Horn-Beartooth Highway-Yellowstone-Tetons-Dinosaur(Utah)-Colorado-Kentucky. This was after a spring trip to D.C.. You videos are a great resource.
What a wonderful trip! We're glad you enjoyed the museum, it's great. Thanks for all the support!
0.47 that waterfall is magnificent, thanks for sharing
Great video as usual. I eat at Dornan's Pizza and Pasta every day I'm in the park, it's that good. They have the best pizza crust ever. Also, thanks for the update on the Military Museum. I've read about it and was very curious. After seeing your review I will try to work it in on my next Yellowstone/Teton trip, this year, as it looks so interesting. Thanks again.
Thanks to your videos, we had a great trip to the Tetons, Jenny Lake, Teton Village, Tram ride and the Military Vehicle Museum is unbelievable. Oh, and the pie at Cowboy Cafe was delicious!
So glad you had a great time!
As always a great video can't wait to see all this for ourselves in September. Your photos are beautiful
Thank you so much! Have a great trip.
Wow great video! I thought that Teton was all about hiking and the famous barn but you showed me so much more. And what a surprise in the end. I never heard of Dubois let alone this museum. That looks amazing. A great idea to add in my itinerary whenever I visit this area.
Ya, most vloggers seem to only show hikes but we aim for variety. And Teton has some of the best variety there is!
Thanks for sharing! Heading there this summer!
Is there RV parking at Jenny Lake?
Jenny Lake has 9 "RV only" spots. Here is a link to their parking info: www.nps.gov/grte/planyourvisit/parking.htm
We visited Grand Teton and Yellowstone last year and loved it so much we're going back in September. Do you need reservations for the Breakfast at the Jackson Lake Lodge? Approx how much is the breakfast? Thank you for all your videos they really help with our trips.
You will want to check with the hotel to get accurate information on pricing: www.gtlc.com/dining/mural-room-jackson-lake-lodge As for reservations, I know that dinner reservations are highly recommended. Breakfast is probably ok to walk-in.
Great video again. We go to Grand Teton (and Custer/Yellowstone/Rocky Mountain) for the first time in July. We got two campsites next to each other in Colter Bay. I’ve read your river rafting article before, but for some reason haven’t been able to pull the trigger and book something. It would be me and 5 kids (husband would have to stay back with one year old). We’re setting aside $1,000-$1,500 for activities on our whole trip and can’t decide between something like this or horseback riding or like a cowboy cookout in Cody. If you only had one “adventure” what would you pick?
As much as I like horseback riding and cookouts, I would choose the whitewater rafting in Teton if you’re up for it. River floats are also nice but not as famous as the whitewater.
@@WereintheRockies thanks so much
How active are the water falls in the Tetons and YS toward the end of Sept?
from our experience, they don't dry up but they are definitely more active in the spring and early summer months.
Is mid May too early? Will we run into too much snow on trails?
It's hard to say, but more than likely there will still be snow on the trails in mid-May. I would check Teton's official page for updates on the park: www.nps.gov/grte/planyourvisit/hike.htm
What kind of animal went zooming behind you around 3:03 at Mormon Row? 🤠
