I really love this game, so underrated. Wish it can compete against NR2003, but that game beats this one in almost every feature. This game is perfect before you start you iRacing career!
I played this from 2002 until my computer finally died in 2009. I was a huge Ricky Rudd fan since 97 and seeing this game’s intro I never realized how often he shows up compared to other drivers. Even got a close up of his car and of him on pit road pre race.
NR2003 just lives on mods, That's all, just mods take that away and you get the same game as this one with Minor differences. So I say this game is a excellent substitute for an overrated and overpriced game. Also You get Carl Long. A driver that didn't appear in another NASCAR Game Until the Newer Heat games. Also Sterling Marlin almost won the 2002 championship without appearing in the base game of NR2002 (or 2003). Let that sink in for a moment...
on the surface little, but the difference in car handling's not as good as 2003, the graphics on the cars is just a bit crisper in 2003 (not much, but it's like a thunder 2004 to nascar 2005 change), and there's not many mods on nr2002. Both are truly great sims, and I played the ever loving hell out of 2002 before buying 2003.
@@4CarbideGaming definitely. NR2003, NR2002, NR4, and NR3 should be an absolute breeze installing on Win7. I know for a fact nr2003 and nr2002 will work on 7, as my pc was running 7 before the free upgrade to 10.
