Two things: #1. I'd like to see where it could be carried lens up or lens down inside the pocket. #2. Like you mentioned, a tail cap switch would be great.
Bought one just before Olight remove the Baton 3 PRO from the shelf due to complaints with the proximity sensor. Those who just bought it before they pulled it like I did had an option of a refund or receiving the Baton 3 PRO with it's proximity sensor turned off, I choose the flashlight. They never mentioned anything about a recall. From Olight ----> (1) Recently we’ve noticed some feedback regarding the proximity sensor of Baton 3 Pro in our group. After a deep investigation and a careful, serious internal discussion, we come to the conclusion that the present hidden sensor applied in the Baton 3 Pro is oversensitive and may lead to an undesired user experience, including a brightness drop down in an unexpected situation, and flickering at very infrequent intervals. The hidden proximity sensor technology requires further research and development to desirably perfect the user experience. (2) Thanks for your support of our products. Because the technician needs to turn off the sensor of your flashlight before sending it, It will take a few days. Could you please wait patiently for a while? We are sending you a small flashlight i3e as compensation and gratitude.
Yes 👍 the warrior mini 2 battery seems to be compatible. I just threw the warrior mini 2 battery into the baton 3 pro and it worked perfectly. As far as I can tell it didn't seem to damage the light. Both are 3.6 volts. The mah is just the amount of power that is available. So a slightly bigger battery just means a slightly longer runtime basically 🤷♂️
I hate the pocket clip.. Seems like the index finger placement Grove was cut short, instead you rest your finger up against the end of the clip which is super annoying 🙄 😒
Proximity sensor override doesn't appear to be working on my light. Also when I turn it up to high it will dim in and out of medium over and over again
Sounds like a defective unit. Try completely removing the battery and putting it back in. Also make sure that you double click to activate the override. It has to be done within a few seconds of it dimming otherwise it won't work.
Yeah I know olight gave me bad information during the sale. Poor communication from the rep a week before the sale when the video was made. Did you order anything special during the sale?

Can it go to turbo mode for a couple minutes every time you turn it on? Or will you get only one turbo at a full charge?

Looks like there's an acknowledgement by olight that the prox sensor is overly sensitive in high and turbo.

I didn't get the i3e... they offered only a imini Red😒 anyway i noticed the baton pro is not available anymore only the 3pro
