Loving this series - I was there last week and there were 10+ boats on the lot and I bet you the majority were throwing jerk baits lol. I told a couple guys at the ramp to check out your channel and this series (hopefully they are new subscribers 😊😊) - looking forward to the next episode!
That’s funny, I was on the water and it seemed like there was about 10 boats on there as well. It worked for a few weeks, I feel like the water is too clear to catch them right now.
A 9.5 pounder was caught at green river last month. May be worth giving some other lakes like it a try. I know green can produce some big fish as well as some other small lakes in that area.
Greenbo’s main baitfish is bluegill (it’s like a big farm pond) - shad aren’t allowed or stocked. I cleaned some trout a couple of weeks ago and their stomachs were full of brook silversides. Hope that helps.
@OnAnotherLine I've never thrown the trout color spro but the shad is 🔥 if you pass Dicks in huntington/barboursville they have some Ima glide flukes (8”) on clearance for like 15 bucks and they had several translucent trout left last week. I've caught fish on the other colors. Your magdraft idea is also a good one, and you also have a plethora of savage gear pulse tails to chose from. Don't discount an S waver too they are a proven cold weather bait. Good luck man! It's always a privilege hooking into anything over 5 in the WV/KY/OH area... but they are CERTAINLY here.

@@matthewmeegan3520 I saw that fish posted on another Facebook group. Heck of a fish. I’ll have to check that place out
Love your videos❤
Just wandering what kinda bait fish is in Green bow
@@NormNewsome-qh6zs I’m wondering that myself. I assume it’s shad, but I’ve never seen them. Fish definitely feed on the stocked trout.

Stratos 201 pro xl. Awesome boat, never owned one but a buddy did. It's a shame Evinrude doesnt exist any more. Thanks for your time.
Couldn't agree more! I love the boat and I’m going to have to repower it eventually if I don’t sell it. Thanks for watching.
Oh this would be an awesome place to throw a glide
@@mattfleming86 that’s my next attempt. Just picked up a trout chad shad.
