Masi was simply following protocol (although the removal of the cars ONLY between HAM and VER was embarrassing). In the end, it was Red Bull with Hannah Schmitz's mastermind that came out on top. That doesn't mean Mercedes is out though; 2022 was a lesson about the new cars. Mercedes will be back soon.

Never watched motorsport until Abu Dhabi 2021. Wanted Hamilton to win because I’m British. But the way he handled the “loss” made me stay watching this season and support him and Mercedes. Proper sportsman and more importantly top human being.

Lewis is one of the GOATs and we're lucky to be able to watch him race for a few more years to come. The amount of titles doesn't really matter towards this. But if he does manage win an 8th at this point, it will be a more than well deserved record, and no one will be able to argue that.
Lewis is the reason I got into F1. I'm American and didn't get exposed to the sport until the 07 US grand prix at Indianapolis which was televised here and I was hooked.This amazing sport wasn't televised at all here so I used to get up early every Sunday morning and search certain websites just to watch and follow Lewis and watch these amazing machines go around the circuit.

It would be a bit embarrassing to read these messages about yourself, I'm surprised they didn't mix in any with levity. I think that's why he always deflected the attention from the kind words toward himself and talked in generalities about being positive, it's not very comfortable to receive that sort of praise. I've known about him since he appeared on Blue Peter, racing radio controlled cars against grown ups and then I started actively following him once he got into the later stages of his karting career.
