Also the strap color is a bit darker in the original one and offcourse as you pointed out the main plate of this is oval as opposed to the 4th generation style plate of the other one. Years ago I was told that Reyes would produce belts for fans, but that they would never be the same size as the ones actually made for the champions. The high-quality third generation replica that I have (not the authentic one in this video) is the same size and color of the FOURTH generation belt. AND it also has the Jose Sulaiman signature in the back (which it should not have.) I almost feel like the replica was made using fourth generation material but in the form of a third generation belt.
I would like to chat with you. I actually have a ring won 3rd gen WBC championship belt. I would love to share the story of how I obtained it. Mine is actually signed by the President.
Are the real belts made for the fighters different sizes depending on weight class. I would have to imagine the WBC belt made for Tyson Fury is not the same size as a belt made for a light weight or a straw-weight. Ps: how much do ring used WBC belts go for by the way.
