Allah wants to refine us, out of His love and mercy, so that we can attain not just Paradise but the highest rank of the Prophets and the Righteous. Beautiful i stand to be corrected but i recall hearing a learned scholar at mosque when narrating this story saying that hazrath utman when he told the guard to leave the guard said but they are going to kill you and hazrath utman said 'let them kill me i want to have iftaar with my beloved nabi (saw).Can anyone verify this?,still brings tears to my eyes 20 years after first hearing it.

Verily a Trial remains with a servant until he walks the earth having No Sin Left upon him.” [Bukhari].
Allah wants to refine us, out of His love and mercy, so that we can attain not just Paradise but the highest rank of the Prophets and the Righteous.
Remember, our Final Home is Hereafter of Everlasting Paradise. ❤

it's hard for me to grasp why Muslims are divided on this. as Sunni and Shia beleive in Allah and his prophet Mohammed .. the middle east could be a great United power if all the fighting could be overcome and I also firmly beleive it is answering people's question is Islam a religion of peace... I don't fall into that box as I've done a lot of reading and a lot of research on Islam..
It's very dishardening to see people, brothers and sister, killing eachother over something like this. A muslim is a muslim in my eyes, shia or sunni, what makes them muslim to me is them worshipping Allah (swt), follow Muhammad's teachings and being good people. Which means all these people killing others in islam's name are bad people to me.
