Agree totally, you not only bring along our eyes, but all of senses that are rewarded with the grace of nature. Thank you for bringing us along as it’s no easy task when out in nature… cameras and nature don’t always get along.
Hi Simon.......for years the BBC has paid many to achieve what you do on your own. Editors, producers, camera people, writers, narrators and directors. You and many others on u tube are fast becoming incredible film makers. The sun rise, drone shot, was just beautiful. Thankyou Simon for this quality series mate All the best Jonny 😎☯️🌱
One of the best openings that I've seen. Makes one want to be right there with you, watching the morning wake up, enjoying a cup of coffee, and a wonderful breakfast. Skillet
Your videos are better than anything in tv or streaming !!! Truly you’re amazing BBC would be doing dang well to give you a tv series that’s for sure !
Paddling solo on still, misty, water is something everyone should experience at least once in their lives. Simply magical. Thanks for taking us on this adventure, Simon. It was just what the doctor ordered (as it so often is).
We're going away soon and a mate is bringing his canoe which he built as well. Looks very like Simons. I doubt I will be getting up early enough to experience this but a paddle and fish on the river will be very nice.
@@petergarner I spent decades getting up early for work so when I stopped I decided to not set an alarm again. No doubt the bird chorus where we are will get us out of bed pretty early anyway. Should be a good trip. Cheers.
I certainly love everything about your videos Simon. Scenery, adventure, music, angles and shots! You always have my full attention and support! Much love and respect.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this beautiful episode of a bloke in the woods. I can't tell you how much I needed this, it's made my week. Lots of love and appreciation to you Simon. Can't wait for the next one. 🤙🏼❤️
What i love about you Simon and even Andy is you guys tend to reinspire me even in the cold to go out setup a campfire and enjoy the outside doesnt matter where as long its mostly peaceful
"🎵 🎶 Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam,....Spaaaaam, Lovely Spam, Wonderful Spam... 🎵🎶." What a stunning place to visit and what stunning photography of that gorgeous sunset and sunrise. Your drone shots add such a wonderful perspective Simon. Laid up with a slipped disk (again!🤬) and unable to do anything at present, so this was a joyous escape! Thank you.

@nicolab2075 THANK YOU!! 😊👍🏻 It's an old injury that plagues me from time to time.....this time....big time! It is very, very slowly starting to recover. So tedious and I am so BORED with being pretty much house bound at present!! I really appreciate your kind words and yes, it's Spam time for me!! 😂
Love these videos especially with the relaxing canoe shots , these have kept me going through cancer treatment as I just immerse myself in the video and nothing else matters ! Thank you Simon , now subscribed to Hardy’s channel
One of your best yet! This thing is a piece of art. Love what you do, thought you were going to go full "African Queen" up that small channel. Thanks for giving us expats a taste of the best England has to offer. Best wishes, John in NZ
Fabulous. I've been watching and enjoying your videos for a long time. Never thought to comment or like before. Just everything about you and what you do impresses. Thanks Simon.
As a Norfolk man myself, I never tire of our beautiful scenery. Seeing you and hardy out together has brought joy and inspiration to me, two great RUclipsrs together. I’m going through a rough patch at the moment and like many I find you help with the day to day struggle.
Simon, if we don't see you till next year I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas 🎁 and a Happy New Year. Thank you for your lovely videos throughout the years. Take care and always be safe. ❤ Lydia, USA
Our dream to live by the broads - one day we will make it… you just make the whole place look amazing, we have had a fair few holidays up there and loved every moment of them ❤❤
Those magnificent Swans & Geese certainly welcomed you into their domain mate. I could tell by the look on your face throughout, this was the perfect reset you needed it be. I too felt completely relaxed after watching it twice through back to back.
I love seeing you out on the Broads. It really takes me back to the Arthur Ransome novels that were set on these waterways. Love to see them in real life.
What a beautiful morning, it made me smile to see it. Your mode of transport is far superior to the noisy motor boat that careened through the landscape but I guess they had somewhere to be. Your videos are amazing and bring much pleasure,
Sitting watching the snow fly past my window. Watching also the creative and beautiful video by Simon once again taking us with him on a great adventure to a new place. Thanks mate. It is always an honored privilege to "spend time" with you through your camera lens. All the best till we see you again.
Just put my canoe away for the winter. It was crushed by a willow tree 30 years ago. At the beginning of this summer I decided to repair it and make it a one person canoe. I love it. After so many years using the kayak I forgot the simplicity of the canoe ! Your videos are the inspiration for me wanting to get back out in the canoe. So keep them coming. Ken from Western New York.
Simon, I think this IS the most beautiful video you have produced. It really showcases your artistic talent never mind your crazy skills at wild camping. I'm super thankful you still take us along with you on your adventures. Even if it's not weekly, when videos like this land it's always worth the wait. Cheers and congratulations!
I have to say Simon, some of the best B-roll I've seen from a UK based YT'er. Brilliant. I've been sub'd to Hardy for years, very calm voice he'd make a great voice artist.
Been watching your videos for many years now and have learned so much. I think this is definitely, one of your best, you set the atmosphere so well and the inaccessible mill, which you struggled through the reeds to get to was so worth it, as the remoteness you felt there must have been incredible. A magical video

Hello Simon, im from the U.S. and things have gotten pretty ugly here. Watching your videos are very relaxing and appreciated very much. You have a beautiful country.
Doesn't get much better than that. Really dig that camp spot. Too bad Hardy had to leave early - hoping for a next time. Great firepit that keeps the fire off the gound and an awesome brewery! Love & Beer!
You make amazing videos. I study the way you place your cameras, different angles, the golden ratio in the perspectives. Brilliant. Regards from Norway.
What can I say without resorting to hyperbole….. Just going to say what first comes in to my head . That was *!#%ing amazing mate. Im sure lots will follow including myself but none will do it the justice you have. Utmost respect shown for wildlife and the location , notice he didn’t camp there during nesting season and the fire was contained and above ground , the wood brought in. Thank you mate! Thank you for everything, it was a privilege to spend some time at that very special place and an honour to meet you in person! And that fried rice was perfection - you said it would be good! Spot on! 😁
I was stuck inside all day today and I was so incredibly happy to see this pop up in my feed. Thank you so much for sharing such wonderful, inspiring content. 😊❤
Did I like the sound of the geese flying, after that @6,30 you can litteraly feel connected to nature. Humbeling to be so close to the water and beeing so vulnerable and yet so in control. Respect for and with nature at it purest. Good to see the old mills (with or without grinding stones) to be left there and occasionally beeing tended to. Good to see that Hardy will still come out while his child (and probaly wife) say please be home for the night. Also good to see that he still is good to be to be there. Respect for Hardy to be able to divede his time between family and anything else. Looks like a mirror the sunset with the trees and sun getting through the clouds. Very impressive and bless for Simon to be part o that and sharing it with the world
Greatly appreciate the prodigious effort and your perseverance getting to-pulling your way to the mill through the weeds, what a great spot. It's too bad Hardy had to leave before the camp got underway.
