It's like he takes the original song, and build a language out of that, then proceed to write poetry with that language and make an emotional response to the original message. He is truly wired differently.

I watched this multiple times now and it moves me deeply each time
I love how Jacob disorients us with several key changes 5:00 singing “you” and makes us search for the way through…and then 6:05 the fog clears with “lights will guide you home” as the key settles. He’s a painter with his vocal colour, gentle touch, unique harmonisation and modulations. He doesn’t “play” instruments but rather speaks through them. Thank you Jacob, so beautifully you.
Jeff, I’m completely overwhelmed by everything. But I really hope others pay attention to what you’ve done for me this week and since we’ve known each other at the beginning of this journey. The step you’ve taken to share music, perspective and engage nearly everyone who visits your channel is a life enriching and changing thing - and what I wish for others. Everyday this week, a new song and story that just made the journey less brutal. You are a very special guy, Jeff.

It seems that Jacob´s physical presence is for us just to have a visible picture for the musical and emotional universal entity he is.
Can you imagine sitting somewhere in a room crammed with stuff and you are able to reach out to the world in the way he does? I can´t... but I am thankful he does.

Wow! He made this his own yet kept enough of the song entact! I am in awe of this young man! So wise and caring for all! So beautiful it had me in tears several times. I just requested the SNL version by Coldplay In which he was part of! He showed such genuine joy on stage that was so endearing. He is a giving person with such deep empathy. If you haven't seen it, the BBC aired a documentary feature on Jacob last year. It does a great job giving an overview of Jacob's accomplishments and his career so far. It features interviews with people like Chris Martin, Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, Hans Zimmer and others. ruclips.net/video/ERvd5QjupSU/видео.html As you can imagine, Quincy and Herbie were astounded when they first saw some of Jacob's videos that he posted as a teenager. Quincy told his people to stop whatever they were doing and to find him!
