Gary is a real stand up guy... He's a bit of a fraidy baby but, he tries his best. I think he's an example of a really well written character. They say a good character should have flaws but, that doesn't mean the, "flaw" has to make the character look too awful. Gary was a kind man. His, "flaw" if you can even call it that, was being afraid. A, "flaw/problem" that isn't too over the top. A natural thing that can effect any of us, yet at the same time this causes adversity for him. And him pushing through his fear just makes him that much more likeable. - So, when the petals began to be torn away It just made it hurt that much more Seeing such a gentle man hurt like that Hoooohhh... garry's song is very comforting like a guardian's song i guess that's why he has it because he protects Ib like she is his child even though they are strangers
I love Garry's theme... because he gives off an aura of tranquility... and because of that I play the game more serene... especially when this songs is playing... I love Garry, he is gentlemanly but a little skittish xD

So Ib and Garry were frighten by this and made distance. So she was afraid to become alone and tried to kill Ib's protector,Garry. By trading Ib's red rose for Garry's blue rose,she wanted Ib, a fragile and cute girl. (I'm not a pedophile ok?...Don't get me wrong.)
Kouta Tsuchiya I would say she found them as friends when she met them and she was happy she wasnt alone in that place anymore. Then she realised that if they find way out she might become alone again and didnt want that to happen.
Catherine Grover I never particularly liked Mary (aside from thinking she's cute, I guess), but I've never thought of her as evil, nor did I hate her. I understand full well that she had every reason to be as desperate for attention and freedom as she was. I also agree that it's dreadful how people are incapable of sympathizing with characters like this and just write them off as evil without any further thought.

I think all of Ib's OST is actually pretty melancholy, to be honest. The game just puts you in this serene, melancholic, and quiet mood :) at least for me it does.

I was thankful to get the True ending (Promise of Reunion) on the first go. But as pretty as this is, I learned to hate from how many times I died from stupid mistakes. XD

That made me wonder if Garry himself have been stuck there too long, long enough to slowly go Insane..

They wanted to make the game sensible and more tame for wider audiences and to make you more ingauged in the story then any romance between the two main characters, which is why they made Ib a child and Gary gay.
