It's like the Fabricated World is telling you that they're sorry you died, and that they'll make sure you have lots of fun with them to say sorry. Because this doesn't laugh at you, saying 'Hah! You're so bad at this game!', and other things like that. No, this is more gentle... Like a *Goodnight*, in some way...
After knowing what happens at the end of all the ends in the game, this song gives off a very sad vibe to me ;( However, it still sounds very gentle and reassuring almost like the Fabricated World is saying goodnight and sorry like it knows that you've tried hard to not get a bad end.
Reminds me of failing the same puzzle over and over again for a full hour, leaving and coming back a day later and getting it first try that shit was frustrating as hell
This is nostalgic in ways I can't understand. It stands out from the rest of other game over tunes, it doesn't sound overly sad it just has a cozy ambiance I can't explain it
as someone who loved this game..before,this song, made me melancholic,in a painfully nostalgic way, this game will always one of the best video games that I have seen, ever.
I always thought this theme and the game over screen were some of the less unsettling aspects of the game. Honestly, it comes as something of a relief after being caught by some artistic abomination.
When ever I listen to this song I can’t help but fell a sort of rueful type of calm. Like I have just lost someone I care deeply about to my own guilt but it’s been a few years and I’ve learned and grown since then and am looking back on the memories but idk maybe that’s just me lol
idk if you ever found it, but this is sampled from el sueño de la muñeca by agustin barrios, I don’t think the ib ost is on Spotify but it’s basically the same song

Best GAME OVER theme ever.
It is as if someone was crying while... playing
I'm crying, doing homework, while listening to this.
Remilia Scarlet So I'm not the only one?
Yeah I hear sniffling. o.o
PINK SAUSAGE WAFFLE FAT! Its because the guitarist (YASUpochi) is old and probably is a little sick.
I read somewhere it's supposed to me Mary, who is crying.
The theme of: "FUCK, I FORGOT TO SAVE."
Cory😅
The top of the screen looks like someone tried to say, “I’m lost” with a bad cold.
OH MY GOD

To me, this song says "You done goof'd"...

its relaxing and not too distracting so you can feel at ease and study happily

This is by far the most relaxing Game Over music I have ever encountered
And here I am unwrapping all my melancholy with a little help of this piece.
I love this version of El sueño de la Muñequita better than the original fast played version...

a beautiful piece of art by Barrios.
i dont think of this game as a game, its more of an experience
instead of sad, it is more like melancholy btw, the autor is agustin barrios
