Well you missed Wayfair but I'm glad you talked about Monsanto. Also with Monsanto is the fact they bankrupted farmers that didn't go along with their product.
This video has a click-bait title and was poorly researched. The two that you listed are or were far more evil than most of the companies listed in this video.
Exxon Mobil is an "Evil Company" for denying Global Warming but EIC commits genocide, slavery, privateering, robbery, colonisation and war crimes buts still wont even be mentioned. 😂
What the East India Company did in the countries that the British controlled wasn’t considered as a crime when they did it. Also, the East India Company might have been controlled by the British government. You might as well decide to blame the nation of Britain for the crimes that the company did.
See, this is a list of corporations that have gotten huge negative reception, whether to bad products, anti-consumer practices, environmental issues, etc. Game devs like Digital Homicide will NOT be on this list, neither would micro-transactions/loot boxes because that also deserves their own list.
Microtransactions certainly does cause the death of thousands. It’s very easy to find evil people who are willing to enslave and kill when you provide them with a lot of money to do so.
I'm surprised CIba Geigy was not at least a dishonorable mention. They knowingly dumped paint chemicals in the grounds for years and contaminated the wells/gound water in Toms River and Bayville NJ and caused many people including my childhood friend to develop cancer.
@@matthewharris517 true, but then again Activision did have that whole sexual harassment scenario that got the state of California investigating in it 🤷🏻♂️
Nestle is owned by the Bayer corp., I think. These conglomerates are continuing to merge together until they become one giant, polluting, power grabbing mass. Disney is another corporation that is like cancer. Look what Disney shareholders allowed happen to Florida.
No offense, but why isn't Amazon up here? I mean they've covered up accidents by poor safety standards (including 1 forklift repair man being crushed while on the job) as well as Amazon investing in order to try and kill off the idea of their employees working a union company (they invested over $7 million into a failed plot to get people to not join a union in the NY area).
it blows my mind that so many people have lost their lives mining coal, a job that is well-known to be extremely dangerous, and yet when you tell coal miners "we're going to close the coal mines and train you to work jobs in clean energy that are safer and pay more money" they're all "BOO HISS I WANT MY COAL MINE JOB"
Triangle shirt waist company pissed me off. They got off Scott free not once but multiple times for the same think. They locked the emergency exit and the guy that had the only key left leaving behind hundreds or women and children to burn alive.
What about EBay whose CEO and CCO got away with planning the intimidation and murder of an older age couple who dared to speak out against the company?
The first few were good, but the top ones were ridiculous. Enron was a greed thing, but not that bad compared to a lot of other accounting fraud cases. Triangle Shirtwaist Company? What about the clothing company in India that added two stories to their building illegally, which collapsed and killed over 300 workers? I've given up on a lot of Watch Mojo channels because they all start good and end lame. It's just consistently disappointing content. To quote Austin Powers: your mojo is snoring
The Boeing Corporation Cost Cutting and Billion Dollars Stock Buybacks made them cut funding on safety protocols for their Planes causing 2 Deadly Plane Crashes.
I haven't watched this video yet, but if Nestle isn't on here then I'm unsubscribing. Use child slave labour and believe that water should be a privately owned commodity only available to those with the resources to pay for it ... that's pretty evil if you ask me...
Amazon, Walmart, and perhaps McDonalds should have been on this list. This video about corporations shows proof that the more green there is, there is more evil, greed, corruption, and a lack of sympathy present.
Dishonorable Mentions: *EA -"Those aren't gameplay mechanics! Those are extortion practices!" "...I don't understand the difference." *Activision-Blizzard -"You were the chosen one! Bring balance to the force, not leave it in darkness!" That one line sums up Blizzard to a T nowadays. And the company who merged with and corrupted this once beloved company was Actvision. In fact, things have gotten so bad that many people are wondering if Activision-Blizzard has officially dethroned EA as the evilest game company. *Konami -It's times like these that make me wonder if Konami is being run by South Park's Mickey Mouse. The logic checks out; the abusive work environment, the hostility towards their fans, and generally being uncaring towards their properties.
Not everyone was surprised that Enron was a fraud. I had been working for a company that contracted with Enron and frequently worked in their building with their lawyers and with their accountants. It was pretty obvious those guys were up to something shady. Nobody is that secretive that isn't doing something shady
