It's hypnotic: The sheer beauty of those sounds, that perfect communication of the musicians, it's all so much joy and I'd have no problem with watching that for three hours non stop ...
Besides obviously liking the music of the entire set let me say kudos to the recording engineer! Not every studio recording sounds as good and transparent as this live gig! I know i'm late to this party, but would you mind honoring the guy/girl by mentioning their name in the description?
Its really somthing when music comes down to the core, blues. I mean I listen to many of those there, playing adcanced , technical. I listen to HOldsworth wehn I was student .AFter many years of laying " as fast as I could", I one day came over an old record by Robben Ford, I thougt......ah , I want to try som of the sthings I started to learn when playing... and got surpriced of , how hard it is, to actually got som e fine lines and melodies in the blues genre....I use to say, ; give a guitarist a blues to play, and you really know how hes like, I mena really he, is about to play . I admired Schofield for this since sutednt days ........oR, lets say, ; the things you play when you forget about scales and the more intellectuel what we thougt in school, yes ? Blues never dies. And especially this times, post Trump periode, what happened, the shit he brought to the table, what a fck shame !....so lets cherich, and celebrate and give respect to the black musichans who brought os the best of it all; the true blues !
You should have Potter come in with you on this ensemble and call it John Patitucci's Electric BeBop Band. Then you would have FIVE of my facvorite musicians instead of just four, and pay tribute to Motian. I'm sure Chris is not busy.
From the angle of the camera, the wire of the bass sometimes make it look like John is wearing pijama pants, and it only makes it all so much cooler

Nate Smith ain't nuthin but pocket! And he does pocket rather well. Most bass players who run bands pick drummers who can pocket well.
