Great video rundown of your set up. Thanks for all the content you give to us here in YT land. I based how I am building my set up on yours, just a bit smaller for just 2-3 doe's.

We really appreciate your channel! Your videos are well done, we are learning so much as rabbits are new to our little farm. Figuring out the best location and design for our property to set the hutch system is our latest challenge. There is a nice stand of pine trees that would provide shade in summer and shelter in winter from heavy snow. Only downside is the distance from our house and access in winter through an orchard. Have you done any videos that talk about location? Trying to watch everything we can to give our animals their best life! Thanks!

I’ll start working on a video and use my drone to film our property with a detailed explanation. It should be uploaded in about a week. Stay tuned…

I just got my first 3 rabbits for breeding. This RUclips Chanel and the podcast has proven very valuable. I hope to have at least half the success you have had. I am in California where it gets hot, at what temperature would you recommend starting to use cooling measures such as Ice bottles?

Thank you. That was very interesting.

    That's interesting.
Have you tried to let them lay on flooring tiles in the summer to cool off? I've thought about it.
I'm in the south in GA. There's a variety of rabbits that's a little more heat tolerant called a Florida white I believe.

Thanks for all the good info Bobby! I like your kindling tote system but do you have the totes for each cage? Also it sounds like you have 2 different cage sizes in the same hutch. How does that work? Thanks, Raye

      Our breeders get totes and have a 30 x 30 x 18” cage. Our grow out cages are 36 x 30 18”
At the end of the video we discussed when we rebreed.

It's hard to tell how heavy the tops are on the totes. Do you ever have any problems with predators removing the tops?
Raccoons and foxes are both excellent problem solvers.

chicken coops are one thing but never had a problem with our rabbits. not even once. raccoons come around the chicken coop because there’s food out but rabbits will move quickly eliminating the raccoons interest. I don’t think they’re willing to use the energy needed to break in when the meal isn’t guaranteed

Thank you so much for your videos. Our rabbits won’t be ready to pick up until June sometime, so I don’t have any rabbits yet. I am researching all that I can from the experts (that’s why I’m here 😀). I’m nervous, but you have helped me with so much information.
I know that you said the great stuff doesn’t hurt the rabbits because they don’t eat it, but have you tried something else? I’m near Lake Ontario and Erie so it gets cold here too. Thanks again!
