Anytime, hope it helps if you go this route! Next time around I'll be illustrating the Pyle Preamp installation, I just didn't do it this first time since the details didn't exactly match the beatshelter tutorial exactly since the layout of the PCB on the PT-01 scratch is a bit different than the PT-01 USB. Had to take a few risks but it worked out in the end so next time I'll be sure to document that as well
I know I failed hard by not documenting it but I wasn't confident that I was going to even get it right on the first try, I was going off of Flesh One's step by step slideshow style video trying to figure out the steps based on the photos.. that and the PT-01 SCRATCH version has slight variations in the layout of the PCB board so I had to improvise on a few things.. scary shit haha.. but once I was done and inserted the stylus into the cart and powered everything on I was so damn surprised I didn't screw anything up... The same guy who did the tonearm now has east to install preamp kits on his site now too, no soldering required either!
nice well id still like to see that set up i did see the bihari pre amp no soldering need but its already sold out haha which i figure and i kno fleshy said he was making a new one also but i have that unit anywho hope to see it if not i understand might as well just get it when its avail
ok ive tried it now but my tone arm feels really stiff and won't drop the needle with any weight, its just floating. i think the metal pin is too tight on mine.
awesome video. it taught me how to put my m44-7 on my new str8150
Thanks for support Bro! This review is amazing! Cheers!
Top Notch tonearm brother man!
Dope to see you uploading again son
just curious, did you need to install the preamp or did the m447 simply connect to what was already on the pt01?

it's a longshot, but if you'd like me to install it I'm down to help you out, did you get a new tonearm too?

can you post a video of this in action?
i managed to sort it out cheers. I just lightly sanded the inside of the two arms as i have the wooden one until it worked.
is that a bootleg stylus. dont say shure on it all white
Yes indeed, you find them easy on ebay - same quality in my opinion
