It sucks. I have had mine for a year and trying use it. Doesn't move easy. To hard to remove the top and it doesn't want to go back on tight. Trying to use it as a blower. You are right not a good product.
Mine died in less than two years. Vacmaster does not honor the 5 year warranty and wouldn't replace the unit. Their stuff is junk...their stuff is junk. There are better options available...avoid buying products from this company.
I would always recommend using bags for shop vacs if you don't want to replace the filters very often
