I just finished my Hard Mode playthrough. Most of it was relatively easy. My only real roadblocks were the Failed Experiment, Abzu Round 2, Whisper Harbinger and Sephiroth. The last two took me 5 whole hours to beat. At one point, I accidentally chose the option to restart from the Whisper fight. Looking at your expertise, I'm envious. The bosses that gave me trouble are probably no match for you. Stay Badass.

Just started playing this game on Hard Mode. Unbelievable skill boss....Right now I'm looking at getting HP Up and MP Up to everyone so I don't fear getting one-shot'd along with getting Luck Up where I can for that Crit Rate.

The Reno + Rude fight was a huge leap in difficulty. Anything after was easy compared to it until Sephiroth.

Thanks man! It changes for every boss, but as a general rule materia like First Strike, Skill Master and Refocus were always used. Elemental + boss weakness on weapon most of the time and depending on if it's magic heavy or not I rotated between having 2x MP up and 2x magic up. Replace MP up with luck up if it's a melee heavy fight. Switch between Mythril Sabre, Buster Sword and Hardedge depending on what you need and always Chain Bangle for these runs 👍

very confuse why you didnt try to stagger when pressured on the bosses that don't have phases...
I wish there were I frames on roll even very few just so no damage would be possible.
Stupid question but only this video I have seen were they is coloured light rotating around cloud how have you done that?
That's the animation for the refocus limit break being active. I use it at the start of each boss fight, hope that helps 👍

Hey man. The build varies with each boss so that makes it impractical to list. But for the most part the materia will be along the lines of elemental/boss weakness/first strike/skill master/ATB stagger/refocus/magic up X2 and the rest are situational.
