Try a few out of craft of exile and dip your toes in. Worst case scenario, you lose all your currency and then just play the game and make it back. You're really missing out and you gotta start somewhere pal
Same. Id rather just farm 150ex or whatever theyre worth and buy them instead of go through all of this and potentially end up with bricked boots.

Long one but I think it's worth it. Couldn't really be made shorter without losing important steps. Very happy with the result (both boots and video :)

Most of the time it's super hard to stay interested in such a long crafting video in poe since it's so repetitive and painful when you brick, but I feel like you're an exception to that. Didn't skip a second forward, you kept me entertained the whole way through even though I knew mostly what was coming the whole time. 10/10 vid, educational and a showcase of an insane craft. GG!

Dont worry, yesterday it finally clicked that zealoths oath on my build actually uses life regeneration from passive and I'm actually dumb af. Probably deleted currency rolling over good mods I could have used on items because of it too. Granted I'm not anywhere close to these guys in terms of currency deletion, but every league it's fun and immersive to learn.
I like how the simple process of randomly slamming two items together completely overhauled crafting in this game

just curious as to why you needed to craft cannot roll attack mods on the aisling step instead of some other random suffix to save 1ex, aisling doesn't respect the cannot roll attack/caster metamods so another random suffix wouldve still had the aisling chance at a 1/3

if the aisling hits the elusive, the boots are 100% recoverable if cannot roll attack is on, since you can only annul suffixes cannot be changed (which you can recraft) or the veiled mod. if you don't have cannot roll attack, you can hit the sentinel mod and have to restart from imprint

elusive is a prefix though, why did that harvest craft work?
As in why was it able to add a prefix?
If that's your question, the metamods only affect what is currently on the item. So the cannot be changed basically meant that the 2 affixes and the 3 crafted ones cannot be removed. But the empty affix slots can still be filled by new stuff, and in this case, there is only 1 critical prefix available.
Recombined 120 times -> only one sentinel boots :-(

One Question in the 3rd Crafting on removing crafted mods from prefiix/suffix/multimod to multi/can not roll attack /Suffix can not be changed ( would der a 33% anullment Safe Some Money ) instead of instant delete the mods and recraft =? i know there is massive currency but still i mean 33 % chance of hitting prefix can not be changed Would safe some For Poor crafters ? : :D

I know this is old crafting and not very relevant, but I'm a bit confused by the essence - annul - metacraft - scour to get blue stormrider boots with Int
wouldn't it be A LOT cheaper to alt spam them to get Int? a perfect essence roll is like, 3 int more than a perfect normal int roll, and even t2 int is maybe 5 int less

Basically that boot base gives you
22-132 added lightning damage witht that amount of accuracy
Like yes they are best in slot but seems like a lot of investment for such a low amount of added damage

The mod Cannot roll attack in Aisling step was to protect the sentinel mod? If not why not just bench crafted a random suffix to save 1ex?
i bet it would had been more expensive but why not just get the rare sentinal mod fractured and essence the int on them. would had been less gamba ig but more expensive
Couldn't he transfer the int + damage per int mods first and then redeemer slam the correct boots instead of slamming and losing 6-7 redeemer orbs?

Gz on the video empy, I don't like crafting too much and i just watched a 40 min crafting video while i was gettin super excited in the "gamble" parts, such a nice one
For context these boots gave empy 63 flat lightning damage (and a bit of int but that was achievable). Compared to the loss of action speed this was probably a 5% dmg increase. Cool boots but definitely a lot better on an acc stacking zerker
Hey Empy! Loved the craft, but when you were trying to hit the veiled Aisling on suffices cannot be changed, after getting the crit mod on the item again, couldn’t you just annul with the multimod/prefixes/suffixes can’t be changed? You can’t annul elusive, int essence nor int stacking mod so it’s a 1/2 to hit the prefixes can’t be changed since you can’t annul the multimod with suffixes can’t be changed. And if you hit it, you save the exalts from recrafting the mods and just craft on Cannot Roll Attack mods.
Just some food for thought, awesome craft!
Did the math using average numbers (without any modifiers applied)
The average damage output for the Int Mod totals out at about 430 additional lightning, while the accuracy Mod came out with an average of 63 damage.
Totaling out at almost 500 additional lightning dmg with no modifications whatsoever, these boots are nutty.
Imagine a crafting system that was available to more than 1% of the player base. Having all of those repeatable steps be multiple exalts seems silly. Even if they were 25-100c, it would make crafting more accessable, or this inflated exalt price go down.

He should have crafted the same suffix on both the sorc boots and the stormrider boots before recombining, gives a higher chance to get both mods on the result. Based on the reddit thread he mentioned, it would have given him a 35% chance to get all 3 mods, and he could just remove the crafted mod, 10% to only choose 1 mod and fail, and 55% to choose 2 mods, of which he has a 1 in 6 chance to select the correct mods. Combining only two mods together only gives you a 33% chance to succeed.

btw, I think boots like the one at 11:15 (it's rare but only has essence int as a mod after annul) doesn't need "suffix cannot be changed -> scour" step since recomb will turn into magic when combined if it can be magic.
Though 2ex isn't a huge deal in the whole crafting process.
Is it worth to use these Boots as the base just to get this extra 20-120lightning damage?
I mean u already have tons of dmg coming from ur Int.
I think Flat ES would benefit this build way more.
I can already tank most "reasonable" things, an extra 100 or 200 es isn't gonna do much, still couldn't tank like multi-dmg-mod-feared with that anyway :D Any damage improvement is nice to insta-phase bosses faster. Also was just an interesting item to craft.
Why not try to annul after reforge crit? 1/3 to save some ex(not that those are of any value)

Can someone pleased clarify: IT would bei safer to imprint after hitting elusive, so you can just use the imprint Ehen failing aisling, right?

maybe you dont know but you dont have to wait for it to finish the recombinator animation you can just take the item out just like in diablo 2 you would remove the horadic staff before it finishes

Imprints can only be applied to magic items, otherwise everyone would wear perfect 6 mod rare items

10:57 deafening essence of spite is half the price of annulment orbs. id rather reuse essence to get 2 suffixes and remove only one with annulment orb than use 2 annuls to remove 2 suffixes, poor player here.
Prices were different when this was made I think. Annuls usually go up over time.

Bows can be merciless to beginners be warned. They can be expensive to scale and usually don't perform that well on low budget compared to almost everything else.
But if you're looking for multishot kind of vibe, Tornado shot is a good candidate in the "Vaguely aim at the bad people and it will hit everything in that part of the screen and more", but Ice shot feel like the more friendly option.
I don't have a league starter kind of build on hand for those tho

As a semi-new player i have like 15% idea of what i just watched :D
I've used the same method on crafting a lot of gear but it seems you are doing it differently which I don't know if it's the best idea, the reddit post in which the guy explains how recombinator's work explain that in order to have the highest chances to get the mods is ( will use the example from this video), have the chicken boots with 1 mod, the sorc boots with 1 mod and craft a third same suffix on both (whatever suffix doesnt matter) and then recombinate.
If the third suffix doesnt matter, it’s pointless to out there. You’re only increasing the chances of transferring something you don’t care about.
@@Empyriangaming Might be true, as I see it, if the third suffix doesn''t matter literally at all then yes, but if you can craft something useful like idk a resist or anything, I believe crafting the same thing on both and hitting that instead of letting the recombinators add a random one is better, but yeah. Wasn't making fun of your method was trying to understand the reasoning and maybe learn something else myself.

I have a question, why did he redeemer slam all the boots in the recombination step if he didn't want any redeemer mod? Wouldn't have been the same if he slam redeemer in step 33:00 instead of augment influence and save those 20 ex + the redeemer slams?
