The 12 was my first Jordan ever. However, I don't think they've ever gotten it "right" since the 1996 release. The newer pairs feel larger, the stitching doesn't run as deep, and the ankle feels more loose than the slimmer OG. Only thing I don't miss from the OG is where the lizard print didn't run flush with the midsole, which they've corrected ever since. I wonder if we'll ever get a remaster of the OG. 12s are my favourites. I doubled up on the Taxis and also own the Playoffs. The medial and lateral plastic tabs crumble with time but they are hella comfortable once broken in. Give us the Chicago/Cherry retros already 😭

I used to have a pair of AJ 12s back in high school and it lasted me a good 2 years 2-3hours of out door game time daily, the sole was really stiff and I jumped 2-2.5inches higher than any other shoes I've tried.
These are an easy cop. So glad the lightbulb went off at JB and they realized they could do classic color blocking in the 1s or 12s and swap colors. They maintain the heritage with the blocking but create new legacies with the color swaps like the shattered backboards or extending the royal color way across silhouettes. So many possibilities opened up when they did that

I’d take the obsidian 12’s and make the white rand powder blue or that dark powder blue from the 9’s. A good alternative would be white 12’s with the dark powder blue rand.

Umm theres just one problem your totally forgetting the best formal wear Jordans ever made, yeah know the original tuxedo J's... the concord 11's sporting a clean white upper + the patent leather has always made them a great match to paired together with formal wear... hence JB trying to capitalize on retro 11s being wore with suits by releasing the cap and gowns 11s last year. I've worn my cyber 3s to a couple weddings now but if I had a pair of concords I'd 100% wear them with a suit over any retro 1's or 3's.
Man my blue turned light blue ... bad shoes... my black leather turned grayish-black ... this shoe is not good to buy ... I got caught in the rain and it changed my whole shoe color... the colors isn’t the same ... is theirs a way to get my color back ?
& all my ideas for what colorway the 12s should come in would pretty much be simple. All of mines would be black & another bright color. Like maybe a club purple Like they had on the Barkleys. Or a teal like the San jose sharks. I think those would be pretty sweet for sure.

Also the Vindicate (Vin Baker's shoe) were great to play in and I thought they were the best out of those new styles that were introduced back then. The Trunner was the best to me back then.. The Baker's were more closely related to the 13 but they were dope!
12s are NOT true to size trust me!!! if you have a normal fit go down half a size because these fit big! I experienced this with the French blue 12s I got from StockX and I eventually lucked out on size swapping with a dude from snupps and they fit good. idk if Jordan Brand changed the fit on them since then but I’m just going off of my experience
