I havent bought vc since 21 and i have 4 builds this year only one being over an 80(96) the other 3 are 80. Im not the greatest at the game but i still win 50 percent of the time and have fun. All no money spent.

2k keeps showing they care less and less about the community and their customers every year. The prices for upgrading a build from 2k 22 to 2k 24 have almost doubled, you used to be able to make a new build a 90ovr(w rebirth) for 45$ now that same 45$ barley gets you to a 85. Also 2k 22 was the last 2k where you actually got good locker code rewards now they barley give you anything. Removing the auction house was the biggest alienation of a companies core fan base ive seen from a gaming company in my life. Other companies like ea still manage to have auction houses in games like madden eafc etc. they are just greedy and could honestly care less about their fans. No one likes the city no one wants to play hoops on futuristic space station or under the sea. People want to play “park” i only briefly played 2k 21(my first 2k) and i fell in love with the park and the beachside courts. The ambiance was amazing coming from games like fifa and madden i had never experienced playing a pick up style game-mode. And when i purchased 22 i still loved the ship. It was a fun concept that kept the “park” feeling. But 2k just doesn’t feel the same I remember hoping on w my friends and looking for open parks to have 2v2 and 3v3 tourneys. To sum it up the game is over complicated and lost some of its core features that people loved about it to begin with.

Game is repetitive and boring. People don't wanna pay for the same thing every year. In my opinion go back to 2k20 style but revamped with new game technology. Get rid of city and just do park and telephone to different areas via subway or something like that. Improve the rewards nobody wants a raptors basketball to dribble around the city with or arms sleeves and many of the other trash rewards

i have 60 hours on 2k24... the game just begs for money.. guess what i am not playing it. i am actually playing 2k17 MyLeague Career. Best time ive had in the last 3-4 years playing 2k. 2k17 was goated & its still fun making a build, use those old glitchy animations & crazy jumpshots.

I’ll tell you why they did this shit. They did it because of the added 100 overall players added into myteam. 1. That Kobe card wasn’t gonna be as good as the 100 overall player cards which would’ve been ridiculous. Imagine you grind hard in the game to reach top collector and the reward you get isn’t on par with the best cards in the game or better? Yea that would’ve been wild. Now you’d probably say “they could’ve just made the Kobe card 100 overall and still gave it to us” and you’d be right BUT…..2. Now that they’ve did this scandalous thing, when they drop the 100 overall Kobe card (which they will do), people are gonna break bank trying to obtain that card. When you consider that, this easily becomes THE MOST money hungry tactic they’ve ever done. They added 100 overalls to bait people into spending more money via micro transactions. If they’re truly the monsters we think they are, they have to be rubbing their hands together just waiting for the right time to drop the 100 overall Kobe card.
It's like the casino. If you don't win right away you're not going to win. I dumped serious cash on the MJ 100 and never got him. The very next week I pulled the Dirk 100 in my 2nd 20 pack. My new strat for each set is to buy enough packs to get the lower card set in order to get the unsellable pack. If I don't get the 100 in those packs, or the unsellable pack, I quit. I'm not going in crazy deep anymore chasing a card that I can literally throw 2k at to get and never see it. They need to make it where if you exchange X number of Dark Matter cards in a set, you can get the 100 for that set. I don't have a problem with them making money. My problem is that they don't appreciate the people that really spend. I've spent about 3k this year and only have a single 100 card. And I don't start spending until cards that I can use in end game are released. So it's crazy that I only have one 100 card. They need to give us something to work towards, not just a very low random chance to obtain the 100s. I can keep from going crazy on the 100 Kobe. I got the Opal and I loaded him with HOF badges. He's as nasty as any 100 card. He's still my starting SG and I have 99 Vince, Tatum, and Roy.

That's why I don't agree with BP when he said spend less on microtransactions instead of boycotting the game because they'll probably just make the grind harder than it already is if they see more people going no money spent and less people buying vc. By buying the game you're allowing yourself to be tempted to spend for me it's better to just not buy the game so I won't have to feel like I'm forced to treat the game like a job to have fun on new builds. There are plenty of games where you can have way more fun with less time and money invested 2k is just not worth it to me anymore.

According to what this video is saying, the criteria to even qualify for that “Kobe” prize is rediculous. 2K just burned their most dedicated My Team players. The only reason for not rewarding My Team players with that Kobe prize is if that prize was not agreed/approved by Kobe’s family when they agreed to allowing his name, image and likeness. NBA2K been ripping off customers for years. It's a lazy made game that was just copied over with a shitty story. I only got it recently because it was free and uninstalled that money hungry garbage azz game. It's really pathetic. A new basketball game must take over because NBA2K is finished.
I want to personally apologize for even buying the game. Had I known this was going to happen, I would've never bought it. That's even after I was feeling skeptical with 2k23 but got it so I could play with my friends. I unfortunately don't play it and haven't to my my friends much afterwards. Take Two is just on another level of scummy and evil with that decision. I said I was going to get GTA 6 when it comes out but after this, I don't know if i want to do that. Until something changes, which I won't expect to happen at all, I will stay away from any new titles from 2k, Rockstar and Take Two.

How NBA2K players havent learned by now is beyond me. I used to buy 2k every year for me and my cousins to play. Now I havent spent a dime on it. I still buy WWE 2k but that game is far less scummy. They dont charge 2000VC for a pair of boots.

I havent bought vc since 21 and i have 4 builds this year only one being over an 80(96) the other 3 are 80. Im not the greatest at the game but i still win 50 percent of the time and have fun. All no money spent.

2k keeps showing they care less and less about the community and their customers every year. The prices for upgrading a build from 2k 22 to 2k 24 have almost doubled, you used to be able to make a new build a 90ovr(w rebirth) for 45$ now that same 45$ barley gets you to a 85. Also 2k 22 was the last 2k where you actually got good locker code rewards now they barley give you anything. Removing the auction house was the biggest alienation of a companies core fan base ive seen from a gaming company in my life. Other companies like ea still manage to have auction houses in games like madden eafc etc. they are just greedy and could honestly care less about their fans. No one likes the city no one wants to play hoops on futuristic space station or under the sea. People want to play “park” i only briefly played 2k 21(my first 2k) and i fell in love with the park and the beachside courts. The ambiance was amazing coming from games like fifa and madden i had never experienced playing a pick up style game-mode. And when i purchased 22 i still loved the ship. It was a fun concept that kept the “park” feeling. But 2k just doesn’t feel the same I remember hoping on w my friends and looking for open parks to have 2v2 and 3v3 tourneys. To sum it up the game is over complicated and lost some of its core features that people loved about it to begin with.
suck to hear.. crazy thing is a lot of these people gonna still not only spend money for 2k25 this summer and real money on vc. 2k know they gonna do everybody like always. they complain about our game, and still put in 20-30 hours a week on our game. atp everybody just rather play victim knowing what kind of company 2k is, rather than make 2k give these people the results they deserve.

Game is repetitive and boring. People don't wanna pay for the same thing every year. In my opinion go back to 2k20 style but revamped with new game technology. Get rid of city and just do park and telephone to different areas via subway or something like that. Improve the rewards nobody wants a raptors basketball to dribble around the city with or arms sleeves and many of the other trash rewards

I’ll tell you why they did this shit. They did it because of the added 100 overall players added into myteam.
1. That Kobe card wasn’t gonna be as good as the 100 overall player cards which would’ve been ridiculous. Imagine you grind hard in the game to reach top collector and the reward you get isn’t on par with the best cards in the game or better? Yea that would’ve been wild.
Now you’d probably say “they could’ve just made the Kobe card 100 overall and still gave it to us” and you’d be right BUT…..2. Now that they’ve did this scandalous thing, when they drop the 100 overall Kobe card (which they will do), people are gonna break bank trying to obtain that card. When you consider that, this easily becomes THE MOST money hungry tactic they’ve ever done.
They added 100 overalls to bait people into spending more money via micro transactions. If they’re truly the monsters we think they are, they have to be rubbing their hands together just waiting for the right time to drop the 100 overall Kobe card.
It's like the casino. If you don't win right away you're not going to win. I dumped serious cash on the MJ 100 and never got him. The very next week I pulled the Dirk 100 in my 2nd 20 pack. My new strat for each set is to buy enough packs to get the lower card set in order to get the unsellable pack. If I don't get the 100 in those packs, or the unsellable pack, I quit. I'm not going in crazy deep anymore chasing a card that I can literally throw 2k at to get and never see it. They need to make it where if you exchange X number of Dark Matter cards in a set, you can get the 100 for that set. I don't have a problem with them making money. My problem is that they don't appreciate the people that really spend. I've spent about 3k this year and only have a single 100 card. And I don't start spending until cards that I can use in end game are released. So it's crazy that I only have one 100 card. They need to give us something to work towards, not just a very low random chance to obtain the 100s.
I can keep from going crazy on the 100 Kobe. I got the Opal and I loaded him with HOF badges. He's as nasty as any 100 card. He's still my starting SG and I have 99 Vince, Tatum, and Roy.

That's why I don't agree with BP when he said spend less on microtransactions instead of boycotting the game because they'll probably just make the grind harder than it already is if they see more people going no money spent and less people buying vc. By buying the game you're allowing yourself to be tempted to spend for me it's better to just not buy the game so I won't have to feel like I'm forced to treat the game like a job to have fun on new builds. There are plenty of games where you can have way more fun with less time and money invested 2k is just not worth it to me anymore.

I don’t understand the logic of this shady move 2K?! It’s a computer generated prize. It’s not even real once you log off of 2K on your gaming console. According to what this video is saying, the criteria to even qualify for that “Kobe” prize is rediculous. 2K just burned their most dedicated My Team players. The only reason for not rewarding My Team players with that Kobe prize is if that prize was not agreed/approved by Kobe’s family when they agreed to allowing his name, image and likeness. NBA2K been ripping off customers for years. It's a lazy made game that was just copied over with a shitty story. I only got it recently because it was free and uninstalled that money hungry garbage azz game. It's really pathetic. A new basketball game must take over because NBA2K is finished.
I want to personally apologize for even buying the game. Had I known this was going to happen, I would've never bought it. That's even after I was feeling skeptical with 2k23 but got it so I could play with my friends. I unfortunately don't play it and haven't to my my friends much afterwards.
Take Two is just on another level of scummy and evil with that decision. I said I was going to get GTA 6 when it comes out but after this, I don't know if i want to do that. Until something changes, which I won't expect to happen at all, I will stay away from any new titles from 2k, Rockstar and Take Two.

How NBA2K players havent learned by now is beyond me. I used to buy 2k every year for me and my cousins to play. Now I havent spent a dime on it. I still buy WWE 2k but that game is far less scummy. They dont charge 2000VC for a pair of boots.
