The reason you are zooming around court on turnovers and fast breaks. is because acceleration is off the first 2 steps you take a in direction, that's why everyone says acceleration doesn't matter. You can just speed boost

I learned a bit of something actually, the reason you’re so fast is because they actually put speed in 2 different categories this year. Which is something they should’ve done a while ago tbh, but speed with ball is essentially how fast you are while you’re dribbling, and normal speed is basically just how fast you are without the ball just running up the court. That’s why you feel so fast compared to other people like centers, forwards etc, because no one probably has a speed over 80 and no one has even close to 90 speed which makes things very interesting because fast builds actually feel fast this year compared to other years which is one thing I actually love about this 2k.
Fun fact. Watching build videos don’t make you good at the game. So most likely the build won’t be the same for you. Just do you.
The fact that Kyrie Irving is arguably the best dribbler in history but so few of his animations are usable
in irl hes like the best player who can finish around the rim with layups and in 2k his layups are ass

High accel matters but people that can R2 cancel don’t really need it because the difference is just not worth it. If u don’t go with Hof speed booster u can put so many points elsewhere.

Can someone give insight, I made a DRose build, I’m just struggling on the defense. I sacrificed strength, rebounding, and interior D for bronze clamps cuz when testing I kept getting left behind. Also kinda new to 2k so would appreciate some help.
Shid you just gone get beat if you don’t have defense fr especially if you don’t have steals fr. May as well stick to someone who ain’t doing too much on offense
@@trentmolden3395 tbh just wanted to mostly make an athletic pg and I think I’d mostly just be going to the rim and taking some 3s so would it be good to lower mid and put that into defense? Got a 86 mid and 77 three, but if I lower mid idk what jumpshot I’d use.
@@bloop9516you can have a 90-94 driving you can also have 78-85 middy and have a 92 plus 3ball however you wanna dribble you can do that and however you wanna pass you can do that. You can have a build with decent pd and have high steals
