I used to work at a video rental store when we still had VHS along with DVDs. It was called Prime Video and it was a small private owned place. The hallway feel of your build reminds me so much of that cramped strangely narrow shaped store. The creepiest aspect of that job was the "adult only" room that was basically a closet with bead curtains hung instead of a door. At the time being in my early 20's the thing I dreaded was being called back there by a customer for "assistance" in finding something. Like ... who needs help in selecting their porn flick? It's not like Siskel and Ebert were doing critical reviews on them. I hated touching the movie boxes when they were checked back in also. Like, major alcohol wipes to clean them and my hands every day. So there is nostalgia ... but also for me personally definitely a creepy halloween vibe fits too.

@@sydmac Yeah it was a weird time. lol Also ... customers used to purchase the promotional movie posters and giant cardboard cutouts when the store was done. I remember though that the manager kept one of the cardboard cutouts in "that room" and you would never guess which movie it was for. The Little Mermaid! Do you remember the controversy over the artwork of the castle for that movie because there was something phallic about it? Well my manager thought it would be funny to add details to that cardboard promotion piece. Just imagine every time I had to put videos away in that back room the first thing you see when walking through the bead curtain is a giant Disney art. I mean, so gross and creepy. But hey, I needed the paycheck. Which btw was $5.75 per hour at the time.

okay so I dont really like scary vibes, but this build literally AMAZED me, the little empty room in the kitchen with the counters wrapped around it was such a good idea and the clutters.. I dont even know how did you do that, maybe knowing the sims for years and playing with it could result in this, but still this whole thing turned out beautiful, in a scary way ofc:DD If I started collecting the things I like about this the most I would be here for the next Halloween lol. The water, the zombie bathroom, the tvs, the teen bunker bedroom okay I have to stop.... Anyway as I said this is fantastic, keep building cause girl, you got talent

What I'm getting is that a group of kids at summer camp playing pseudo-Jumanji who accidentally summoned the ghosts of massacred clowns which have since possessed them (for well over a decade). Also they keep the one friend who wasn't at the summoning (because it was a full moon and he needed to wolf out) in the little prisoner suite. But occasionally they let the high-schoolers they inhabit out to play. All the while the clowns are trying to figure out ways to extricate themselves from their hosts and live forever using books and the best expertise on the paranormal: scary movies. But static TVs can disorient and trap them, as can clocks.
The way you change the lighting in each room makes everything SO much better, you rock!
What about a cutesy, whimsical Halloweeny house? You know, for those of us who like their spooky to be cute and friendly. Lol

I absolutely LOVED the analog horror bedroom!! It's a horror genre that's popped off fairly recently on the internet, its most popular examples all being webseries here on youtube! I'm genuinely such a big fan of analog horror, I think it's a really cool way to play with nostalgia and turn things you're familiar with into something that scares you. Since you've dabbled with it a bit in this video, I'm wondering if maybe you could do a video of making rooms/tiny homes/etc. or sims based on some popular analog horror series to wrap up the spooky season? I dunno how big the overlap between fans of your sims videos and fans of web horror is (besides me) but I think it'd be a fun challenge, especially for a home/room design video!
