Losing the people I love or fear of the death process [ thanatophobia ] (it was so bad I used stay up all night crying about it rocking back and forth ) but I'm tryna get better about it :)
Was NOT expecting my fear to be included! I've had vehophobia for years and it's so bad, it's at the point where I can't operate any form of vehicle at all (including things like amusement park bumper cars). It makes adult life a complete nightmare! It's cool to see it being represented :)
vehophobia is no joke! you're strong for being able to live with it, especially if you live in a country/city that is super reliant on cars. i had a milder version when i was in my teens and everyone i knew was starting to drive. drove me nuts when people were constantly asking about when i'd be getting my license... like no thanks buddy! i feel like the only way i got used to driving was by making myself look forward to it (music mostly helped me) but i still get anxious about certain drives but nowadays i'm doing better about routine commutes without getting the shakes. you are valid and never let others' peer pressure eat you up! some people will never understand that the "freedom of driving" isn't enough to make the fear go away magically. much love, friend! a random pro of vehophobia: carpooling/public transportation is better for the environment😂
Same here! I had a panic attack because of this rollercoaster-type thing where you control your cart. So embarrassed when my bf's lil brother could do it but I couldn't as a grown adult. Bumper cars terrify me. I still have not driven one, even as a kid.
I love when phobias are acknowledged, especially the ones that seem irrational to people who don't suffer them, I have hemophobia (fear of blood) and aichmophobia (fear of sharp objects). They aren't the most common so it can sometimes be hard for others so understand lol. You did an amazing job!
I've got hemophobia also. I feel like some people feel like that fear only applies to serious injuries, but I've had to leave emergency response trainings cause they made me feel faint, sick, and nauseous
@@cobaltcat4227 Yes, it can apply to many other medical-realted things depending on the person, I remember me and my friend would always feel sick in biology class 😩 And the teacher got mad because we weren't engaging in the class too like
4:04 “sometime I envy people that just don’t give a crap on an airplane, like there hands are up when it’s bumpy” That’s me I like flying it’s before and after when I’m nervous
I'm strange when it comes to trypophobia. Uneven holes really unsettle me, like ones in mushrooms or open wounds, but even holes, like honey combs and ventilation grating are very soothing to me.
Fears? Heights (especially stairs… I have to be able to hold a railing) and recently I’ve been developing a fear of bridges… especially driving underneath them on the highway. Stay amazing syd! I love your vids!!! Makes me wish I could play sims more and not work all the time 😂❤
I've never heard of anyone else that has a fear of bridges!!!! I'm also really scared of heights and as a kid I would jump off my bike and lead it across the bridge because I was so scared I couldn't go too fast 😂
As a person with arachnophobia, I honestly feel like spiders spawn into people's homes who have that fear. Everyone else is like a spider, where? Meanwhile, I see every web and every spider living in my home rent free wanting to say hi 😭
This house is so pretty and I love how you incorporated the phobias! Just wanted to mention that trypophobia is at least for me not so much fear of clusters of holes, but more an intense skincrawling disgust when seeing clusters of holes
If you ever do another phobia video, can you do the phobia of butterflies and moths? It's called Lepidopterophobia, I personally have this fear and feel like it needs more recognition. Love your videos btw!
@@1zZy.3dits, same, also with bees I fear getting close to them but they FIND ME, and it's funny because my name means bee 😅 (Never knew the name of this phobia)
@@OlivReme I’m ok with bees 🐝 I saved one on holiday last year! I also trued to save a wasp… that one didn’t go as planned so my dad had to save it instead lmao also! A bee phobia can also be called apiphobia or melissophobia. I got this from google :)
Moths have their own name mottephobia but butterflies get classed in that sometimes I guess same with lepidopterophobia sometimes combines moths in it but is distinct to butterflies.
Your video totally made my day. Thanks for another cute and unique build! :)) I have (the irrational) trichophobia / fear of hair. In my case, specifically loose hairs. It used to be a really bad - to an extent where I would not go to sleep before removing every single hair from my bed, because I was convinced I would otherwise choke in them... Luckily, It has become a LOT more manageable. Today loose hairs mainly just disgust me.
I’m terrified of heights and falling so the tower room is my nightmare. Funny enough I’m not afraid of flying though. And an irrational fear of have is of frogs 🐸. I love frog theme things but not actually frogs I freak out so bad. I just love all your unique builds so much
Im surprised Thalassophobia (fear of deep bodies of water) or Phasmophobia (fear of supernatural entities) didn't make the list. I thought those 2 phobias were extremely common. 🤷♀️ Btw the build looks amazing! As someone who has quite a few of the phobias listed in the video, the rooms perfectly describes the phobia and would definitely make me feel a bit anxious being in there. 😅
Ngl, I instantly fell in love with the outside of the house and the shape, I just think it's so interesting to look at, with all of the nooks coming out of it
I have a fear that might be a little weird. I'm not so much afraid of bugs as I am afraid of the sound they make, the flying ones, that buzzing sound that becomes especially loud with really big bugs. I just can't stand it.
Love your videos as always!! I look forward to the notifications. I have an idea (as always smh lol): two townhomes where one side uses only pattern swatches and the other uses only solid swatches. Anywho! Thanks for the great content!
You really should be a sims 4 creator this is beyond a joke now Syd your builds are UNMATCHED!!!! My fear is clowns - or any dressed up costume with the face covered 😩 & my brother has a fear of tall buildings like looking up at them?! Love this vid x
My fears: agoraphobia- fear of no exit or escape for akarward or over stimulating situations. I am also scared of going outside at night alone. Another fear is being the only person in existence and in a black white void. I also definitely have social phobia just socialization with people without anyone I trust near me idk I hate it it also doesn't help I have social anxiety
I love the structure of this house! And thank you for not showing trypophobia, though that eco lifestyle rug is enough to make me uncomfy. On the subject of fears, I once was lying in bed reading at night when I felt something kind of tickly on my stomach. I pulled up the covers and there was a large house spider crawling over my torso. I am usually fine with spiders but not when they're touching me 😭😭
I don't really like climbing ladders. Which is really ironic because I'm an aerialist. I will climb a 25 ft aerial silk all day, but I would absolutely hate climbing a 6 ft ladder. Also, that kiddie car room is SO COOL!
Fear of Rejection. But also now I want to make an entire house dedicated to trypanophobia because it's one of my favorite fears. It's like a car wreck, you just can't look away. I'm surprised fear of needles/sharp things wasn't high up on the list.
When I saw the video I was like, “ ain’t no way my phobias in here!” I’m afraid of chickens(Alektorophobia), I’m afraid of fish(Ichthyophobia), and I’m afraid of the insides of human bodies(abodiphobia) 😅😅😅
OMG I literally never hear of anyone else with abodiphobia it’s gotten better for me as I’ve gotten older but when I was younger it was debilitating like I couldn’t get through health class without panicking. I thought I was the only one
omg i did not know that picture in the living room even existed and as someone with trypophobia, every time it would pop up on the screen, i got chills all the way down my back. im also embarrassed admit how many of these phobias i have lol. pretty sure i only didn't have like 3.
I have severe arachnophobia and it is at a point where I couldn’t even watch you build the arachnophobia room 💀😭 agshs to be completely honest though, my arachnophobia does not even bother me too much irl because there aren’t many spiders where I live but the fact that I can’t play any video games that include spiders is a true tragedy and will forever be the bane of my existence 😭
I also have very severe belonephobia... last time I got any shots or any needle remotely close to me was 10 years ago now and I never had a problem before then... I watch needles going into my sister's arm trying to support her for her shots and it freaked me out! It was my turn after, I started panicking so bad and sweating and I just felt horribly sick and I told my doctor and she said it's going to be just fine and they stuck it in my arm and I told her I think I'm going to faint and I remember her saying "you're going to he fine sweetie you can have some candy after if-" and I just blacked out and a few moments later I was slumped on the floor feeling so dizzy and I had to go throw up 😰
I'm quite glad you made this video. Seeing you do the "top" fears and then doing the fear of driving, really helped me feel better about my own fear of driving. I'm really embarrassed about my fear. I have my license. I know how to drive. But, I have not driven in like three years. I have a panic attack every time I think about sitting behind the wheel. It's a huge frustration in my life. It's something everyone does, so I've always thought a fear of driving was rare... so I'm glad you put it in your video.
You are so creative and talented!!! I love your builds so much, especially the storytelling aspect! 💖 Also… girl… can totally relate to sooo many of these phobias! 😅
My first thought was “fears? How is she gonna pull this off?” And then BAM! You are soo creative and I love the lore you create for each of your builds! If this video doesn’t emphasize “Never doubt Syd” idk what does❤
For the afraid of flying house I’m happy that you added a swingset because when you’re on a swingset, it does kind of feel like you’re flying and it also kind of reminds me of that thing that that people usually do when you jump off the swing while it’s still in motion and basically you’re flying in the air for a few seconds so the swingset does apply in that way too
Each sim is a different flower? Like for rose you could do fancy elegant clothes with lots of reds and pinks and for sunflower you could do a more coxy style with yellows and browns that would be cool ❤🌺🌼🌹🌸
Fears: heights (which is kinda ironic cause I sleep in a bunk) What happens after death, needles (one time when I got a vaccine I fainted of fear) the dark (don’t judge)big crowds, too much noise like motorcycles sounds, insects, animals (I’m not an animal person) Love how this a safe space ❤ Btw I loved the video ❤
Your ideas always impress me, the street room idea 😮that’s something! Oh, and I have 3fears the most annoying to me is the Podophobia (fear of feets) i just don’t stand the sight of them. I also have cherophobia (fear of happiness) I’m afraid when I feel happy or say that I’m that something terrible will happen, and the last one is dromophobia (fear of speeding cars or crossing streets where there are speedy cars, I really struggle with crossing the road as there are no designated places for crossing and very few bridges to use for that purpose where I live 😢
You are literally one of the most creative builders out here Syd!! I had to watch you make the spider bedroom from behind my hands! I can't deal with spiders and most bugs - it's mostly the thought of all their little legs! Ughh! I'm scared of the ocean and sea creatures (especially things like crabs and squids), and I'm also claustrophobic - but mostly relating to large noisy crowds which triggers my anxiety.
@@sydmac good morning to you too by the way i was thinking you should make the old monster high school in here in your style the old one has those coffin windows
i love that you used a sound effect from the game instead of a soundboard one. obv soundboard ones are funny (we all love steph0sims) but i love hearing the sims sounds in a sims video too
hey, syd. I‘m actually from germany where the winters aren’t that snowy anymore but in November I’m going to Canada for a Work&Travel. I am soo nervous especially about the winter and driving so what you said about driving at snowy streets is so accurate. Love your content by the way!
OMG I wasn’t sure what to expect from this house, but I actually totally love it. I think my favorite room is the children’s bedroom that looks like a street. My nephew, who loves cars and things like that would absolutely love that bedroom. Very cool. I would love for you to do a house where you just make a ton of children’s and teen bedrooms. Because you go all out with a theme and I love that.
The car bedroom? Are you kidding me? It's so creative, it drives me crazy! When I think I've seen everything this game has to offer, you go BANG!!! Insane good job.
11:21 I have that phobia too and my teacher had a planetarium so we went in before we went in she asked “is anyone claustrophobic?” Nobody said anything so neither did I and I told my friend “maybe I should have told her I was claustrophobic”
I'm in school to become a flight attendant!!! that's so cool that you used too be one!!! you should definitely incorporate some funny stories from your travels if you have any!!
That toddler car room is a genuine stroke of genius! Well done! Also, SO many thanks for not showing any images of trypophobia. That is one heck of a triggering phobia! Literally, when I see those kinds of clusters, I actually physically feel sick and might throw up, it's that bad for me. (Some of the objects you used definitely triggered it a bit.) Well done once more!
You are the first sim player that I have even enjoyed watching but just in complete love with every single build. You are so so talented! I decided to build a city using your builds in newcrest and it looks amazing and I am so excited to use the builds that I watch you build!
It's ridiculous how the dining room actually triggered me a little. like I have severe social anxiety, and literally you just mentioning "imagine they have open mic" or "imagine they roll out the karaoke box thing", like, I felt my anxiety rising at imagining those activities. The big dining table for hosting people would have triggered me earlier this year, but flatting this year with strangers, who have friends around often, has worked as exposure therapy pretty well in that regard XD
17:30 this bathroom reminds me of my country’s bathroom state. Most of them can be as clean as possible but they look really gross to look at. It makes me feel blessed to live in a home that isn’t so run down and has enough space. The rural parts of New Zealand is where some of my family lives and the kitchen is the size of my room back at home!
I have a challenge for you Make a build with ONLY one color, one pack or base game , and one aesthetic. And choose these with a spinning wheel and the plot size has to be 18x18 and you have to use the WHOLE LOT and very VERY little to no landscaping NO CHEATING
Your videos are very inspiring, and I just learned how to do the basic steps of building a house in the sims 4, my questions are what do you do if the game won’t let you place something in the spot you want. My second question is do you have any tips?
The outside of this house is soo pretty! Also, I love how you interpreted the fears, that toddlers room is such a good idea. 😊 For me, I don't think I fear anything till the point of a phobia but I can definitely relate to a certain degree with fearing heights or social phobia, and my bf actually has trypophobia, glad you didn't show it cause its not pretty to look at haha
I have a really severe fear of heights so seeing you build the observation deck gave me so much anxiety 😭 I can’t even be an inch off the ground (shoes are the only exceptions) without absolutely freaking out Love your builds tho 🤍🫶🏻
im guilty of putting my hands up in the air during takeoff.. idk why i just love it. the sound doesn’t even bother me and im usually very sensitive to loud sounds.
i'm so curious about the flight attendant career now, like how did you train for it etc? the fear of flying can also apply to the swing set, like when you're a kid and scared to go around or get ejected if you swing too high?
I think all that's missing here is a basement full of clowns and mannequins. Those are both common fears! Loved all this though, especially the glass room and the car bedroom
Super cute house, and it certainly does look pretty against the sunset and lighthouse background. Unfortunately, having played living on this island before, I know that it never stops raining there. No plane would ever be able to takeoff and land in that weather. If I were going to use this house, I would have to put it in a different spot, but it is gorgeous! And very clever idea. ❤

My first thought was “fears? How is she gonna pull this off?” And then BAM! You are soo creative and I love the lore you create for each of your builds!
If this video doesn’t emphasize “Never doubt Syd” idk what does❤
Ooooh I love this build idea!
thank you!!
Like for rose you could do fancy elegant clothes with lots of reds and pinks and for sunflower you could do a more coxy style with yellows and browns that would be cool ❤🌺🌼🌹🌸
the car toddler room was soooo cute 😭😭
Why is no one talking about how cute the car bedroom is oh my God. So perfect
15:37 A(rock)nophobia
Fears: heights (which is kinda ironic cause I sleep in a bunk)
What happens after death, needles (one time when I got a vaccine I fainted of fear)
the dark (don’t judge)big crowds, too much noise like motorcycles sounds, insects, animals (I’m not an animal person)
Love how this a safe space ❤
Btw I loved the video ❤
Make a house but each room is based of a different decendants character
Your ideas always impress me, the street room idea 😮that’s something!
Oh, and I have 3fears the most annoying to me is the Podophobia (fear of feets) i just don’t stand the sight of them. I also have cherophobia (fear of happiness) I’m afraid when I feel happy or say that I’m that something terrible will happen, and the last one is dromophobia (fear of speeding cars or crossing streets where there are speedy cars, I really struggle with crossing the road as there are no designated places for crossing and very few bridges to use for that purpose where I live 😢
like the magnus archives?
Your first congrats
You are literally one of the most creative builders out here Syd!!
I had to watch you make the spider bedroom from behind my hands! I can't deal with spiders and most bugs - it's mostly the thought of all their little legs! Ughh! I'm scared of the ocean and sea creatures (especially things like crabs and squids), and I'm also claustrophobic - but mostly relating to large noisy crowds which triggers my anxiety.
Literally just woke up lol
good morning
@@sydmac good morning to you too by the way i was thinking you should make the old monster high school in here in your style the old one has those coffin windows
@@sydmac it would be really neat
it is absolutely mind blowing how incredibly talented you are.
thank you!!!🩵
i love that you used a sound effect from the game instead of a soundboard one. obv soundboard ones are funny (we all love steph0sims) but i love hearing the sims sounds in a sims video too
12:07 I did not know that there was a fear of driving … that’s me
I love the kids room it's really cool ♡
The car room is just a cute idea for a toddler room tbh.
The kids room, with the car theme?! made me GASP, IT WAS SO GOOD!!!
The car bedroom? Are you kidding me? It's so creative, it drives me crazy! When I think I've seen everything this game has to offer, you go BANG!!! Insane good job.
Love that the toddler bed is headed for a head-on collision with the yellow van toy 😄
The big dining table for hosting people would have triggered me earlier this year, but flatting this year with strangers, who have friends around often, has worked as exposure therapy pretty well in that regard XD
this is such a fun idea! my irrational fear is zeppelins. doesn’t really interfere with my daily life much, as you can imagine.
It’s amazing how you can build literally ANYTHING just with items from the game and not custom content 😮. You’re my favorite build simmer 😊❤
as someone who has a severe fear of heights, the top bunk is literally horrifying! You got that perfectly 🤣
Trypophobic here ↗️↗️ !! If you made some holes on the walls that would’ve killed us so thanks for not doing that 😂 Syd you’re amazing as always!
Why is no one talking about the kids room!!! The car themed bedroom is so creative! My fav RUclipsr to watch!
I have a challenge for you
Make a build with ONLY one color, one pack or base game , and one aesthetic. And choose these with a spinning wheel and the plot size has to be 18x18 and you have to use the WHOLE LOT and very VERY little to no landscaping
NO CHEATING
Your videos are very inspiring, and I just learned how to do the basic steps of building a house in the sims 4, my questions are what do you do if the game won’t let you place something in the spot you want. My second question is do you have any tips?
It made me do an other building for my one hundred and thirty-sixth game!! Thanks for the idea! I made all of your CAS sims into my game🤩💖
I have a really severe fear of heights so seeing you build the observation deck gave me so much anxiety 😭
I can’t even be an inch off the ground (shoes are the only exceptions) without absolutely freaking out
Love your builds tho 🤍🫶🏻
im guilty of putting my hands up in the air during takeoff.. idk why i just love it. the sound doesn’t even bother me and im usually very sensitive to loud sounds.
this is the most beautiful shell i’ve ever seen you build why am i enamoured by this
I LOVEEE SPIDERS THEY'RE SOO CUTE i mean the eyes and the legs how can't you love em'
Okay but that kids room I sooo cute! I have big fear of driving but I'm working hard to get over it and get better.
Nosophobia room got me all stressed out because I've got an ocd, you really know what you're doing Syd🥲🫶
i'm so curious about the flight attendant career now, like how did you train for it etc?
the fear of flying can also apply to the swing set, like when you're a kid and scared to go around or get ejected if you swing too high?
I think all that's missing here is a basement full of clowns and mannequins. Those are both common fears! Loved all this though, especially the glass room and the car bedroom
I would absolutely LOVE the spider room ❤❤
Haha I would HATE that room lol. But I would love the fear of heights room! It's so fun how people have so different wants and fears :D
@@mirazenker1203 I hate heights lol
Super cute house, and it certainly does look pretty against the sunset and lighthouse background. Unfortunately, having played living on this island before, I know that it never stops raining there. No plane would ever be able to takeoff and land in that weather. If I were going to use this house, I would have to put it in a different spot, but it is gorgeous! And very clever idea. ❤
