Was NOT expecting my fear to be included! I've had vehophobia for years and it's so bad, it's at the point where I can't operate any form of vehicle at all (including things like amusement park bumper cars). It makes adult life a complete nightmare! It's cool to see it being represented :)
vehophobia is no joke! you're strong for being able to live with it, especially if you live in a country/city that is super reliant on cars. i had a milder version when i was in my teens and everyone i knew was starting to drive. drove me nuts when people were constantly asking about when i'd be getting my license... like no thanks buddy! i feel like the only way i got used to driving was by making myself look forward to it (music mostly helped me) but i still get anxious about certain drives but nowadays i'm doing better about routine commutes without getting the shakes. you are valid and never let others' peer pressure eat you up! some people will never understand that the "freedom of driving" isn't enough to make the fear go away magically. much love, friend! a random pro of vehophobia: carpooling/public transportation is better for the environment😂
Same here! I had a panic attack because of this rollercoaster-type thing where you control your cart. So embarrassed when my bf's lil brother could do it but I couldn't as a grown adult. Bumper cars terrify me. I still have not driven one, even as a kid.
I love when phobias are acknowledged, especially the ones that seem irrational to people who don't suffer them, I have hemophobia (fear of blood) and aichmophobia (fear of sharp objects). They aren't the most common so it can sometimes be hard for others so understand lol. You did an amazing job!
I've got hemophobia also. I feel like some people feel like that fear only applies to serious injuries, but I've had to leave emergency response trainings cause they made me feel faint, sick, and nauseous

Fears? Heights (especially stairs… I have to be able to hold a railing) and recently I’ve been developing a fear of bridges… especially driving underneath them on the highway. Stay amazing syd! I love your vids!!! Makes me wish I could play sims more and not work all the time 😂❤
I've never heard of anyone else that has a fear of bridges!!!! I'm also really scared of heights and as a kid I would jump off my bike and lead it across the bridge because I was so scared I couldn't go too fast 😂

I thought those 2 phobias were extremely common. 🤷♀️ Btw the build looks amazing! As someone who has quite a few of the phobias listed in the video, the rooms perfectly describes the phobia and would definitely make me feel a bit anxious being in there. 😅
This house is so pretty and I love how you incorporated the phobias! Just wanted to mention that trypophobia is at least for me not so much fear of clusters of holes, but more an intense skincrawling disgust when seeing clusters of holes
I have a fear that might be a little weird. I'm not so much afraid of bugs as I am afraid of the sound they make, the flying ones, that buzzing sound that becomes especially loud with really big bugs. I just can't stand it.

It used to be a really bad - to an extent where I would not go to sleep before removing every single hair from my bed, because I was convinced I would otherwise choke in them... Luckily, It has become a LOT more manageable. Today loose hairs mainly just disgust me.
My fears: agoraphobia- fear of no exit or escape for akarward or over stimulating situations. I am also scared of going outside at night alone. Another fear is being the only person in existence and in a black white void. I also definitely have social phobia just socialization with people without anyone I trust near me idk I hate it it also doesn't help I have social anxiety

I also have very severe belonephobia... last time I got any shots or any needle remotely close to me was 10 years ago now and I never had a problem before then... I watch needles going into my sister's arm trying to support her for her shots and it freaked me out! It was my turn after, I started panicking so bad and sweating and I just felt horribly sick and I told my doctor and she said it's going to be just fine and they stuck it in my arm and I told her I think I'm going to faint and I remember her saying "you're going to he fine sweetie you can have some candy after if-" and I just blacked out and a few moments later I was slumped on the floor feeling so dizzy and I had to go throw up 😰

I love the structure of this house! And thank you for not showing trypophobia, though that eco lifestyle rug is enough to make me uncomfy. On the subject of fears, I once was lying in bed reading at night when I felt something kind of tickly on my stomach. I pulled up the covers and there was a large house spider crawling over my torso. I am usually fine with spiders but not when they're touching me 😭😭
For the afraid of flying house I’m happy that you added a swingset because when you’re on a swingset, it does kind of feel like you’re flying and it also kind of reminds me of that thing that that people usually do when you jump off the swing while it’s still in motion and basically you’re flying in the air for a few seconds so the swingset does apply in that way too

11:21 I have that phobia too and my teacher had a planetarium so we went in before we went in she asked “is anyone claustrophobic?” Nobody said anything so neither did I and I told my friend “maybe I should have told her I was claustrophobic”

I can't deal with spiders and most bugs - it's mostly the thought of all their little legs! Ughh! I'm scared of the ocean and sea creatures (especially things like crabs and squids), and I'm also claustrophobic - but mostly relating to large noisy crowds which triggers my anxiety.

I'm quite glad you made this video. Seeing you do the "top" fears and then doing the fear of driving, really helped me feel better about my own fear of driving. I'm really embarrassed about my fear. I have my license. I know how to drive. But, I have not driven in like three years. I have a panic attack every time I think about sitting behind the wheel. It's a huge frustration in my life. It's something everyone does, so I've always thought a fear of driving was rare... so I'm glad you put it in your video.

Your ideas always impress me, the street room idea 😮that’s something! Oh, and I have 3fears the most annoying to me is the Podophobia (fear of feets) i just don’t stand the sight of them. I also have cherophobia (fear of happiness) I’m afraid when I feel happy or say that I’m that something terrible will happen, and the last one is dromophobia (fear of speeding cars or crossing streets where there are speedy cars, I really struggle with crossing the road as there are no designated places for crossing and very few bridges to use for that purpose where I live 😢
I have SEVERE emetophobia (fear of throwup). It's honestly more inconvenient than it sounds, cause if anyone's sick it kind of evolves into a fear of germs as well. I wash my hands using soap 3 times, wash utensils before use even after they just got out of the dishwasher, am deadly afraid of eating expired food and parties are a BIG no.. It can come off as being asympathetic towards sick people too, but I can either avoid it completely and isolate myself or be having back-to-back panic attacks lol.
The car bedroom? Are you kidding me? It's so creative, it drives me crazy! When I think I've seen everything this game has to offer, you go BANG!!! Insane good job.
OMG I wasn’t sure what to expect from this house, but I actually totally love it. I think my favorite room is the children’s bedroom that looks like a street. My nephew, who loves cars and things like that would absolutely love that bedroom. Very cool. I would love for you to do a house where you just make a ton of children’s and teen bedrooms. Because you go all out with a theme and I love that.
I’m more scared of roller coasters than I am of flying lol it’s probably since you’re more exposed and less protected but I’ve screamed to get off of roller coasters yet I love the feeling of the drop of your stomach that I get from flying (I get the stomach drop on roller coasters too, it’s just scarier for me so I enjoy the feeling on an airplane more) I flew by myself when I was 10 and I had a blast and the flight attendant gave me a pin that had wings on it!

Literally, when I see those kinds of clusters, I actually physically feel sick and might throw up, it's that bad for me. (Some of the objects you used definitely triggered it a bit.) That upstairs bathroom legit made me feel ick looking at it! I don't have nosophobia but I do have mysophobia/germaphobia. I wear gloves to wipe up dust even if I know with 1000% certainty that there is only dust present and nothing else. Can't touch pens once other people use them without washing my hands after, will wash a pen that I own if someone touches it. I've had to share desks at my current and previous job and I probably used half the disinfectant wipes myself, since I always cleaned the desk top and chair before starting work, had my own mouse and keyboard too.
i'm so curious about the flight attendant career now, like how did you train for it etc? the fear of flying can also apply to the swing set, like when you're a kid and scared to go around or get ejected if you swing too high?

Super cute house, and it certainly does look pretty against the sunset and lighthouse background. Unfortunately, having played living on this island before, I know that it never stops raining there. No plane would ever be able to takeoff and land in that weather. If I were going to use this house, I would have to put it in a different spot, but it is gorgeous! And very clever idea. ❤

I have nyctophobia (fear of the dark)! It’s definitely gotten better over the years but things still trigger my fear. I’m 23 and will still have to sleep with my light on at night if something triggers it. Even being in my apartment with all the lights off while I’m in my room freaks me out and I still sprint up the stairs😂

I don't really like climbing ladders. Which is really ironic because I'm an aerialist. I will climb a 25 ft aerial silk all day, but I would absolutely hate climbing a 6 ft ladder. Also, that kiddie car room is SO COOL!
The closes thing to triggering my trypophobia in that room was the mirror with the infinity lights.. and even that was sorta not really anything to me.. :P
I have a fear of heights too. My local swimming pool has an upper deck seating area to view swimming competitions. There is no railing in the steps, and a glass fence. It looks like you could fall all the way into the pool. Even though I know it's impossible, and tge worst would be slipping on the concrete (possibly wet) steps, and rolling into the glass fence. My mind says, " you will fall down the stairs, through the area where the fence should be. Plummeting straight into the deep end." Another more reasonable part says "If you slip and twist your ankle, you'll shatter the glass, then plummet one floor to the concrete pool deck below. If you survive that; with a broken ankle, scratched and deeply wounded by the broken glass, and more broken limbs from the fall to the floor. So you don't have to worry about drowning.... unless you try to stand and you're so wobbly that you then fall into the pool" and where is my little one's favourite spot to play?
This would be so fun if you did builds inspired by the different Barbie movies! Like rapunzel, island princess, mermaidia, etc!!! You could also do sims inspired by the movies too! Love ur content ❤

I also have very severe belonephobia... last time I got any shots or any needle remotely close to me was 10 years ago now and I never had a problem before then... I watch needles going into my sister's arm trying to support her for her shots and it freaked me out! It was my turn after, I started panicking so bad and sweating and I just felt horribly sick and I told my doctor and she said it's going to be just fine and they stuck it in my arm and I told her I think I'm going to faint and I remember her saying "you're going to he fine sweetie you can have some candy after if-" and I just blacked out and a few moments later I was slumped on the floor feeling so dizzy and I had to go throw up 😰
I would love to see sims inspired by phobias, I feel like I can imagine what the people who would live in this house look like 🤭
I definitely have the fear of heights and social anxiety hardcore. The trypophobia not so much its more they make me feel uncomfortable.
that arachnophobia room gave me major anxiety- i have enough fears of spiders in my room as is 💀

Each sim is a different flower? Like for rose you could do fancy elegant clothes with lots of reds and pinks and for sunflower you could do a more coxy style with yellows and browns that would be cool ❤🌺🌼🌹🌸
Driving is the biggest fear I have that actually gets in my way, however, that kids bedroom is an adorable idea 😊

On the subject of fears, I once was lying in bed reading at night when I felt something kind of tickly on my stomach. I pulled up the covers and there was a large house spider crawling over my torso. I am usually fine with spiders but not when they're touching me 😭😭

For the afraid of flying house I’m happy that you added a swingset because when you’re on a swingset, it does kind of feel like you’re flying and it also kind of reminds me of that thing that that people usually do when you jump off the swing while it’s still in motion and basically you’re flying in the air for a few seconds so the swingset does apply in that way too
This was crazy to me lol, I did not realize that I have so many of the top ten fears. (claustrophobia, fear of driving, arachnophobia, fear of heights, fear of failure, and social phobia)

11:21 I have that phobia too and my teacher had a planetarium so we went in before we went in she asked “is anyone claustrophobic?” Nobody said anything so neither did I and I told my friend “maybe I should have told her I was claustrophobic”
omg i did not know that picture in the living room even existed and as someone with trypophobia, every time it would pop up on the screen, i got chills all the way down my back. im also embarrassed admit how many of these phobias i have lol. pretty sure i only didn't have like 3.

I had to watch you make the spider bedroom from behind my hands! I can't deal with spiders and most bugs - it's mostly the thought of all their little legs! Ughh! I'm scared of the ocean and sea creatures (especially things like crabs and squids), and I'm also claustrophobic - but mostly relating to large noisy crowds which triggers my anxiety.
You really should be a sims 4 creator this is beyond a joke now Syd your builds are UNMATCHED!!!! My fear is clowns - or any dressed up costume with the face covered 😩 & my brother has a fear of tall buildings like looking up at them?! Love this vid x
Fear of Rejection. But also now I want to make an entire house dedicated to trypanophobia because it's one of my favorite fears. It's like a car wreck, you just can't look away. I'm surprised fear of needles/sharp things wasn't high up on the list.

I'm quite glad you made this video. Seeing you do the "top" fears and then doing the fear of driving, really helped me feel better about my own fear of driving. I'm really embarrassed about my fear. I have my license. I know how to drive. But, I have not driven in like three years. I have a panic attack every time I think about sitting behind the wheel. It's a huge frustration in my life. It's something everyone does, so I've always thought a fear of driving was rare... so I'm glad you put it in your video.
hey, syd. I‘m actually from germany where the winters aren’t that snowy anymore but in November I’m going to Canada for a Work&Travel. I am soo nervous especially about the winter and driving so what you said about driving at snowy streets is so accurate.

Oh, and I have 3fears the most annoying to me is the Podophobia (fear of feets) i just don’t stand the sight of them. I also have cherophobia (fear of happiness) I’m afraid when I feel happy or say that I’m that something terrible will happen, and the last one is dromophobia (fear of speeding cars or crossing streets where there are speedy cars, I really struggle with crossing the road as there are no designated places for crossing and very few bridges to use for that purpose where I live 😢
I have SEVERE emetophobia (fear of throwup). It's honestly more inconvenient than it sounds, cause if anyone's sick it kind of evolves into a fear of germs as well. I wash my hands using soap 3 times, wash utensils before use even after they just got out of the dishwasher, am deadly afraid of eating expired food and parties are a BIG no.. It can come off as being asympathetic towards sick people too, but I can either avoid it completely and isolate myself or be having back-to-back panic attacks lol.
The car bedroom? Are you kidding me? It's so creative, it drives me crazy! When I think I've seen everything this game has to offer, you go BANG!!! Insane good job.

OMG I wasn’t sure what to expect from this house, but I actually totally love it. I think my favorite room is the children’s bedroom that looks like a street. My nephew, who loves cars and things like that would absolutely love that bedroom. Very cool. I would love for you to do a house where you just make a ton of children’s and teen bedrooms. Because you go all out with a theme and I love that.

I’m more scared of roller coasters than I am of flying lol it’s probably since you’re more exposed and less protected but I’ve screamed to get off of roller coasters yet I love the feeling of the drop of your stomach that I get from flying (I get the stomach drop on roller coasters too, it’s just scarier for me so I enjoy the feeling on an airplane more) I flew by myself when I was 10 and I had a blast and the flight attendant gave me a pin that had wings on it!

Literally, when I see those kinds of clusters, I actually physically feel sick and might throw up, it's that bad for me. (Some of the objects you used definitely triggered it a bit.) Well done once more!
That upstairs bathroom legit made me feel ick looking at it! I don't have nosophobia but I do have mysophobia/germaphobia. I wear gloves to wipe up dust even if I know with 1000% certainty that there is only dust present and nothing else. Can't touch pens once other people use them without washing my hands after, will wash a pen that I own if someone touches it. I've had to share desks at my current and previous job and I probably used half the disinfectant wipes myself, since I always cleaned the desk top and chair before starting work, had my own mouse and keyboard too.

Super cute house, and it certainly does look pretty against the sunset and lighthouse background. Unfortunately, having played living on this island before, I know that it never stops raining there. No plane would ever be able to takeoff and land in that weather. If I were going to use this house, I would have to put it in a different spot, but it is gorgeous! And very clever idea. ❤

I have nyctophobia (fear of the dark)! It’s definitely gotten better over the years but things still trigger my fear. I’m 23 and will still have to sleep with my light on at night if something triggers it. Even being in my apartment with all the lights off while I’m in my room freaks me out and I still sprint up the stairs😂

I don't really like climbing ladders. Which is really ironic because I'm an aerialist. I will climb a 25 ft aerial silk all day, but I would absolutely hate climbing a 6 ft ladder.
Also, that kiddie car room is SO COOL!
The closes thing to triggering my trypophobia in that room was the mirror with the infinity lights.. and even that was sorta not really anything to me.. :P
I have a fear of heights too. My local swimming pool has an upper deck seating area to view swimming competitions. There is no railing in the steps, and a glass fence. It looks like you could fall all the way into the pool.
Even though I know it's impossible, and tge worst would be slipping on the concrete (possibly wet) steps, and rolling into the glass fence. My mind says, " you will fall down the stairs, through the area where the fence should be. Plummeting straight into the deep end."
Another more reasonable part says
"If you slip and twist your ankle, you'll shatter the glass, then plummet one floor to the concrete pool deck below. If you survive that; with a broken ankle, scratched and deeply wounded by the broken glass, and more broken limbs from the fall to the floor. So you don't have to worry about drowning.... unless you try to stand and you're so wobbly that you then fall into the pool" and where is my little one's favourite spot to play?
This would be so fun if you did builds inspired by the different Barbie movies! Like rapunzel, island princess, mermaidia, etc!!! You could also do sims inspired by the movies too! Love ur content ❤
