I'm a huge fan of Jesse Lonergan, his book Arca last year from IDW was one of my books of the year, largely off of his paneling and story flow. He also did a one shot a few years ago called Hedra that was a wild wordless adventure. He packs so much detail into all of his stuff with that really loose linework, really unique, no one like him working today. I've been loving Man's Best, it's going to be showing up on a video soon ... whenever I get around to doing videos again
@@bunkmastab I’m definitely now a fan of his work! I was actually down for the count most of today with a cold/fever and I actually finished reading Man’s Best digitally. It was definitely…a choice…to read it while not in the best frame of mind. I loved it, but at the same time I don’t fully know what to make of it! Looking forward to reading it again. Some truly awe inspiring panel layouts! Will be looking forward to hearing your reaction to the series when the time comes!! Have you taken the plunge on any of the original pages yet?

Also, I admire your lack of online presence on those platforms. I try to limit myself to using them mainly for art purposes and that’s it. The rest is just a lot of “noise.”
You’re so right! I was so eager to start talking about the story & interiors I completely forgot to mention his killer cover! Can you tell how conflicted this title is for me? Usually the art without question carries it to the point where I don’t even care about the story. This issue was particularly talky which made my disinterest in the story hard to avoid. Still though, as always…their work is beautiful!

That Von Randal cover on Spawn 355 is a major selling point of the issue! Booth and Corona also bring that same rock star vibe!
