If only I lived closer! Just beautiful setting and with my favorite presentation. Have and love that same rod based on your recommendation. Also fish that same pattern especially on Kaid. There's usually 2-3 ft between the rip rap and weed lines that always seem to hold fish early and late. Had one good day on the home lake holding the rod tip up while still reeling over the top of the matted areas. They were coming up and out of the weeds. They'll have to pry that chartreuse and white spinnerbait from my cold, dead hands! Great video and keep them coming!.
When you coming to Southern Illinois again? Planning on hitting on Little Grassy or Devils Kitchen sometime soon, both are right by Crab Orchard. Great fishing over here, caught a 8.5 pounder at Rend Lake last week. Edit; That's hilarious. You're using the same exact spinnerbait my 11 y.o nephew used last week and catch a 7 pound channel cat lol. We was bass fishing and couldn't believe a channel hit a spinnerbait.
I was taught to fish bass with live baby frogs. An try to find a "floating" island and fish underneath that, and you'll have an endless supply of bass.
@@TheTinHorseMonty hey Gabe Everytime you go out and it's raining that buzzbait is a key bait and I would have also gave the prop bait some cast you had really calm conditions out there and that's prime time for whatever prop bait you like I like the one from black label tackle Cliff makes outstanding balsa baits and his paint jobs are 10 times better than the average balsa company. I'm a real finact Gabe with the balsa baits they look more realistic in movement in the water compared to plastic. No comparison whatsoever balsa just looks more real and you will get way more bites than plastic. Anyway Gabe from now on when it rains I want to see a buzzbait in the water 💦 . I don't know what is about that buzzbait and the rain but they go together.
I love catching on a spinnerbait. It’s so much fun 🤷♀️🎣. Loved the video.
10000% It's a blast.
War Eagle and E-Factor spinnerbaits are great. I like the Strike King spinnerbaits as well. Great video!!

Probably soon. an 8.5 is huge. Great spinnerbait.
That's one of those days when rain is a positive thing, it brought them up shallow hitting a moving bait.
Definitely. Once I got some confidence on a bait I just looked for the right ingredients.

I once caught a giant catfish on a live frog.
Hey Gabe don't forget to throw the buzzbait in the rain besides your spinnerbait .
True. Thanks

Nasty day but if the fish bite it’s worth.
Yes sir. It was worth it.
