Great coverage Nige I bet you were freezing on Shap and Ais Gil I only could get as far as Hellifield in time and caught it with the skin of my teeth! Hellifield was bitter and it wasnt Boddys! with horizontal sleet and hailstone.Well done mate yet again and thanks for sharing. Brian

"Great" and "bother" in that order - great photography from the "Panmeister" again, and "bother" I missed it as a perambulated by the WCML in Penrith this morning - all I saw was a down Pendo! I really must pay closer attention to the schedules! (I was on a "domestic mission", which, at least (thankfully) I completed successfully!)
Looking forward for another classic season of steam action in our neck of the woods ...

Thanks David, wasn’t looking favourable at Shap Wells when I first got there with the wind direction but that changed for the better and then the lovely sunshine appeared, yes I was expecting more snow at Aisgill, hope you got some good shots, cheers 👍
