I am 46 years old. I hunt, train dogs, kayak and would generally be considered the macho-type. I have been listening to your videos for half a hour or so and they are so beautiful I get weepy. You are not just a talent, you are in love with your music.

I'm 40. I'll never play like this. But perhaps my son....
Watched this the other day and went straight to iTunes to get the album. It made the drive to work looking out over the Oslo fjord a pleasure rather than a commute.
    Thank you Andy McKee.

wow. The guitar playing is incredible, the songwriting is deeply moving. Every song I listen to by andy brings tears to my eyes. I don't know what to say. It is great to see these candyrat people approaching music from such a new and different angle and pushing the boundaries of what a guitar can do.

I really thought that when Michael Hedges left this planet I wouldn't get to see/hear that kind of talent again, except for his recordings.
I saw him play live twice and he just blew my mind both times!
I'm so glad that I was wrong! You have just as much to offer :) as he did and that's coming from a fellow musician and songwriter!
    Thank You for being you!
    Love and regards, Marni

This is UNHEARD of! Andy McKee has transformed an instrument generations old which i truly believe has waited for HIM to come along and the scary part is..he's only 26 years old and started playing at 13. Ask yourself if his music evokes every emotion of a human being. Ask yourself what a feeling it would be to go anywhere in the world and be considered timeless. Close your eyes and let your imagination soar. If you ask how music can inspire change in life...listen to every song he plays.
