They really did a good job at remodeling. It seems like they thought out the decisions that they made. Even the parts that they regretted she admitted it and explained why they wouldn't do it again. Which is something I appreciate. Sometimes people give the impression that remodeling and designing their homes went smoothly without any issues. And since they lived in the home while remodeling it I give them major props for that. I'm sure that wasn't easy.
What a charming, forthcoming designer. Thank you for sharing the good decisions and the not-so-good decisions. I love your home and that throw on the bed in your principal bedroom is the perfect addition to that room.
What a lovely home and I truly appreciate her honesty about bad decisions…and hiding the other tub legs!! 😄 This will help others as they navigate through renovations. Well done and beautiful draperies of course.
Thank you Ms Milks!! One of the best renovation/makeover videos I've seen. I love that this designer has shared the "real life" design process - what she loves, what she regrets, how she'd tweak things if she could, the thought process, the *honesty* that is so often missing from these types of videos. This was so informative - so many questions answered (e.g., things to think about with marble in kitchen and bath; sometimes going with all-dark color scheme doesn't work, etc, etc). More like this please!
What a lovely home! And YES, finally someone who agrees with me on the advantages of shower curtains over glass! It's so nice having a nice looking bathroom without having to squeegee after each shower and scrub at stubborn water stains every time you clean! You just throw it in the wash every now and then! And it's a great opportunity to bring softness and maybe colour/pattern into a space that tends to be full of hard surfaces! And also a great opportunity to be more daring or trendy, because it's way easier to replace than daring or trendy tile. 😄
Your not alone! Unless you have a maid, doing the bathroom cleaning glass doors are a pain. Curtains can not only make it more practical, but cozy as well.
I often like the way that rooms look when Im watching home remodels/decorating videos. Not only do I LIKe this home though, I'd like to LIVE in it! I love and would be comfortable in every room here which is something I can't say about most home tour/remodels. Excellent!
OMG! I'm so appreciative that you went back and revisited her stunning kitchen and she showed the rest of her house - wonderful tour! Her honest solutions with elevated style are something we can all relate to. Thank you!
I love her! It’s refreshing to hear someone be honest about the things that didn’t work and the drawbacks (albeit minor) regarding some materials. It’s a beautiful home!
You and your hubby were SO brave to take on the renovation of that home. If I had not seen the “Before,” I would not have believed it had been in such bad shape. WOW! So beautiful! Congratulations!
Oh, my Lord… This house is amazing!😍 This precious Lady is beautiful and sooo talented!!🥰🥰🥰 Well done, wonderful Lady!!! Awesome job!! Well done!!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😍
So nice I watched this twice.😍 Mandy is adorable and I love her design style and her approach to creating a real-life home that is comfortable, liveable and beautiful. Well done. 👏
What a lovely remodel! Glad some circa 1800 details were restored. Since you love wallpaper, why not consider wallpapering the inside of the entry storage? Love the authenticy of this home.
What a beautiful crisp home. Such a lovely, sweet lady. I admire the fact that she said she made some mistakes and would do things differently. Her voice is so calming I could listen to her all day 😌
LOVE this video! She’s so down to earth and stylish! I love that her style is timeless and fun. She’s super likeable and easy to listen to - you should do more videos with her! 😊
She has a very sweet energy ✨💜✨ Her home feels real, lived in and represents her personality. Gosh House and Home usually I dislike most things on here but I’m digging some of the new videos. More!!
She is so honest about accepting her design mistakes. Houses do get dirty and lots of wear and tear happens over years of usage. So they can't pe speckless and magazine worthy all the time. She didn't hide anything and mislead others. Really admire her.
Love this so much!!! keeping the timeless style elements really works and looks beautiful. I saw some other makeovers of British row houses where they made it modern and it completely lost any historic feel/connection.
I love this video, it feels more down to earth realistic process. She obviously has a lot of talent and at the same time she is humble and honest about learning on the go! Yes please, do more videos of her!
Thank you for sharing this video. It gave me so many ideas for my grandmother's rowhouse in Philadelphia, PA. It's narrow with high ceilings and a teeny tiny backyard
It is so beautiful. We would know as we are in the design of reupholstery and custom made sofa business. SImply lovely colours and style. Great work guys.
I love every room of this renovation, it's hard to pick a favorite, but probably the master bedroom and main bath. You know once their kids get older, in a typical rich yuppie tradition, they're going to either add on or move on to bigger so each kid can have own room. The reality is, kids can survive and thrive in a shared sleeping space through hs, and in many lower income households & other countries, they do. Plus, it's better for the environment.
It's good to know that designers also have remodeling regrets (marble shower floors). I made a few mistakes with my bathrooms like vessel sinks, so impractical (unless it's a powder room).
Lovely home and reno. Looks so cosy, and I loove the use of green, diiferent shades of brown and natural materials. Also love the transitional look - lots of traditional pieces, with a hint of modern. SO well done, and truly timeless. I think the kitchen could have benefitted from some form of seating - like a small minimalistic peninsula that seats 2, so they can still let the light through. But overall, this is one of my favourite home tours. So pretty!
The house is perfection, the homeowner is perfection, all the things... it's great. (also, I had no idea that you could have something plated in unlacquered brass, but now that I know this I hope to borrow this fantastic idea in my own house.)
I just bought a row house in Wilmington, the same thing happened to me. The back of the house was so bad, because they had covered up the damage with two by four and it was termite infested. So we had to redo the entire back of the house all two floors. Your house looks beautiful, taking notes.

Mad respect for her using Ikea furniture, especially for the kids’ room. That and that her kids’ room actually looks like a room for children.
A beautiful home loved listening how this lovely lady designed each room in her home. Thanks for sharing 👍 🥰

I agree! So underrated and under used. Love a shower curtain.
Your not alone! Unless you have a maid, doing the bathroom cleaning glass doors are a pain. Curtains can not only make it more practical, but cozy as well.
Luv this casual, unfussy, wonderful approach! We need to see more of her work. As an adult, I want one of those cute little fort twin beds! 😊❤️

It’s not a house. It’s definitely a home...and it’s fab. Well done 👍🏿
I remember Mandy’s kitchen, bathroom and family room makeover from many years ago. Still timeless.
This is what we need more of. Beautiful. Feels homey, love it!!
I have seen this kitchen before on RUclips and loved it! The olive green was a great choice.
You and your hubby were SO brave to take on the renovation of that home. If I had not seen the “Before,” I would not have believed it had been in such bad shape. WOW! So beautiful! Congratulations!
Oh, my Lord… This house is amazing!😍
This precious Lady is beautiful and sooo talented!!🥰🥰🥰
Well done, wonderful Lady!!! Awesome job!! Well done!!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😍
This kind of make over can really uplift the mood and lifestyle of the owner. Congratulations! ✨🎉
Beautiful reno. Classic and timeless. Love the tip to check out older marble counters in bars and restaurants.
Loved how honest, sweet and herself she was. Loved the entire reno, the colours, changing what she didn't like such as her bedroom colours. 👍❤️
Love the green color of sofa and kitchen cabinet.
So nice I watched this twice.😍 Mandy is adorable and I love her design style and her approach to creating a real-life home that is comfortable, liveable and beautiful. Well done. 👏
Love everything here! So well thought out. I love to sew, the work room is a dream!🥰
What a lovely home and designer! It was great to hear her perspective as the designer and the person living with the decisions.
What a lovely remodel! Glad some circa 1800 details were restored. Since you love wallpaper, why not consider wallpapering the inside of the entry storage? Love the authenticy of this home.
One of the best makeovers I have seen. The house wasn’t modernized and love the colors too. Such an great video. ❤️
What a beautiful crisp home. Such a lovely, sweet lady. I admire the fact that she said she made some mistakes and would do things differently. Her voice is so calming
I could listen to her all day 😌

I love this house and all the changes that made it a beautiful family home! I especially love the bathrooms and the dining room.
Her home matches her lovely personality...warm, inviting and serene
Some of the elements are so pretty like the main bathroom and vintage prints, footstool, etc. her workspace too ❤️❤️❤️
She is so honest about accepting her design mistakes. Houses do get dirty and lots of wear and tear happens over years of usage. So they can't pe speckless and magazine worthy all the time. She didn't hide anything and mislead others. Really admire her.
She has such a great energy and that house is really beautiful and comfy looking.
It is fantastic and so real that she talks about what didn´t work (bathroom floor). Thank you!
The house is gorgeous! I absolutely love the kids’ bedroom. The pink drapes are so very pretty!
Love this so much!!! keeping the timeless style elements really works and looks beautiful. I saw some other makeovers of British row houses where they made it modern and it completely lost any historic feel/connection.

Such a real interview. And a beautiful home.
Thank you for sharing this video. It gave me so many ideas for my grandmother's rowhouse in Philadelphia, PA. It's narrow with high ceilings and a teeny tiny backyard

I love everything about Mandy’s house. Good job, you.
Beautiful home, and her voice is so soothing ❤️❤️

Full of style, function and hominess!
It's good to know that designers also have remodeling regrets (marble shower floors). I made a few mistakes with my bathrooms like vessel sinks, so impractical (unless it's a powder room).
Lovely home, lots of great design style. But I loved how the kitzen kept photo bombing the interview! 😂
