I'm 54. I've been playing since Sims 1. (And can you IMAGINE going back just 30 yrs to show someone playing Sims 1 THIS game?!) I'm beyond amazed because I'm a guy who is still impressed with a color wheel (that was stolen from us in S4). At 18:00, when the "Control City Stability" screen came up, I literally just froze. Unable to comprehend that we can have this level of awesomeness on it's way. There were so many points in this video where I was just awestruck about a feature, but THAT was like seeing an airplane in the sky when thinking wheels are pretty damn cool for getting stuff around on. Great job with the video, man. I'm sure we'll all have some building struggles in the beginning. Very thorough explanation! Thank you!!
@@js2765 I think it still has playability for a couple reasons: 1. The sims act more like people in some ways. The personality WORKED. The later versions got too cutesy and kid-friendly, leaving the sims too similar to each other. 2. The joy of your first experience with a new exciting game idea(and much in RL) is always going to rate higher. Those endorphins just never reach those initial peaks.
If they put this on console, all the other simulation games might as well fall back. Cause this is everything that everyone has always wanted in life simulation, it’s the little details.

Knowing there is WASD movement being a choice instead of point and click only really sold me. It really makes me excited to play it more. I remember back in The Sims 2 in the PS2 version you could switch controlling your sims using the analog stick or the normal point and click control

My biggest gripe about the sims is the lack of adversity. You can control the entire experience from top to bottom, which is great, but there is no adversity element to overcome. Everything just comes easy. If you want it, then it will be. So glad to see inzoi has difficulty adjustments for various game mechanics. I am sure I will be bumping most of them up.
@@CatloverplayerYou don't need to have it in the base game to have a mod that adds it. Skyrim for example has no sexual content but you can mod it to an almost realistic looking sex game.

@@Bookworm214-y3d there are plenty of western games that feature Asian characters. Mortal kombat, far cry 4, life is strange true colors, portal. but this is a life simulation, with character customization. it wouldn't make sense if there was no representation for other lives in the world
This was the dopest review yet! As a Black American, I'm glad to see how easy it is to replicate myself in game and that they're considering adding more diverse hairstyles into base game. Also, thank you for mentioning your PC specs and the lack of multitasking!! Multitasking from the Sims 4 is a big reason I find it difficult to return to older Sims games. Once you have it, it's hard to go without, so I'm happy to know that Krafton is aware of its necessity.

I loved sims 2 and 3, and at first I was excited for sims 4 in the beginning. However, I haven’t been this excited for a simulation game in a very long time. I’m also very happy that there’s diversity in their characters and characteristics from the get go. I’m sorry maxis, but this looks so much better than anything the sims team has ever created.
I loved sims2 (not so much 3) and hated sims4 also. But what I hated about sims4 wasn't that wasn't pretty enough - it lacked depth. I've been looking and this video offered the most about what there actually is to do in this game, but it seems surface to me. I don't think there's enough to do and am afraid I would get bored quickly, the same way I did when sims4 came out. Curious what you disliked about sims4 and where this game seems better?
The koreans don't play when it comes to games, there's never any lying in their advertising from what I've seen unlike western companies. Such as Pearl Abyss and other companies based in Korea, what you see is what you get. Thats why I'm so excited for alot of new Korean games dropping.

Those are people probably playing on the minimum specs. The recommended specs is an i7 processor with at least 16gb of ram. It’s gonna be interesting to see how this plays out, a lot of sim players don’t even seem to be PC literate when it comes to hardware and specs.
It’s made on Unreal Engine 5, there is absolutely no reason to worry about the graphics. UE5 is the best and most powerful game engine ever made, with the most realistic graphics ever seen in any media. Pretty cool lol

I feel like the other content creators are playing on low settings. And it’s blurry not surreal why you wouldn’t want to play this game on the highest settings. And I like how he explains things and also he’s honest about what he likes and what he dislikes. So I trust his review
It’s tough if you don’t have a top of the line PC like this guy, like he shows you his specs and they are great like $2000+ PC, definitely gonna have to upgrade my PC in order to play this in the way I want.

This game is beyond beautiful and everything I want in a life sim game. This is what the sims should look like but they’re busy price gouging and cramming more dlc in a 10 year old, broken game. Inzoi has everything I need mods for in the sims 4.

To be fair, I'm really happy that there is finally some real competitors to the Sims that start to exist... maybe that will push EA/Maxis to stop just making the same game (with less details) and then sell the same DLC over and over again... but in the same time, I'm feel like all those Sims like games we start to see all try to be "ultra realistic" and I think that might be a problem for these game in the long run, with the ultra realistic you can loose the "fantastical" aspect of the sims that help create some fun story for your character
I really wish that if they add DLCs they are well done and add those fantastical aspects, and are not just some 1+ extra job, 10+ extra clothes, pets, etc at full game price.
My issue with Sims isn't the cartoonish look of it. It is the fact that they took away all challenge or fun in the game because they want to appeal to children. The original Sims games were supposed to be for young adults. They were not politically correct or easy which is what made them so fun.
This is made with the unreal engine so modding will be substantially easier than with the Sims. I can guarantee modders will have every possible sims expansion pack in this game within a few months for free.
Nice review! Your characters are so good looking. And about being a mid builder (I’m mid too 😭) there are several house presets that you can choose and then make your own interior design. It’s nice for people who is not good in building houses.

I have almost all of the DLC for Sims 4 but I stopped playing. I am done with EA and their greed once they added the shopping cart I said I'm done with Sims forever. No Sims 5 for me. I need a Sims replacement I've been dying to build something!!! Inzoi is my only hope! I have a gaming pc that can handle a lot so I'm ready for the higher demand on graphics!!!! I will update my graphics card if I have to! I'm on a 3060 will go to 4070 if I have to if this game is that good I will do it.
I'm still watching this video, one thing I wanted to add was that it doesn't look like I'll need mods to carry me through a boring game! With Sims 4 we HEAVILY relied on mods to make the game interesting! I am so happy to see this video right now!
I hope they leave the vacuuming the driveway thing because it reminds me of the charming and goofy stuff that the sims has always had. But I understand wanting it removed for the sake of immersion. Thank you for your video man. This helps a lot but still, I'mma have to mod this game to suit my playstyle, because this just confirms even more what I felt from other videos I watched. However this does show me everything I could ever want even more. So let me break it down and explain. I'm autistic and introvert, and very creative person. I have my own characters over years and writings and stories I've kept with me all this time. I can easily burn out or be over stimulated when playing games that is too much busy work/multitasking. As this will over whelm me or distract from what I love to do. However I love details , obsessively so. When i play sims I will make a self insert sims and then populate the town or country side with my characters over the years along with townies. I basically play one house hold exclusively, and immerse myself with just that house hold and interact with my others characters and world from the one house hold and the sim that is my self insert. The game becomes a comfort game, very cozy for me and place I can unwind. My sim is an artist and introvert but very loving in relationships, so I don't have and can't deal with too much social pressure and games like these are a lovely break from that. In my current sims 4 game, my sim lives on the ranch with his spouse , two dogs, two cats, two horses, cow, two chicken coups and a farm. This life is busy but in a natural nature focus way, so it doesn't overwhelm me. What actually does is the pop up social messages, events, holidays, and just constant notifications and achievements. As I just want to focus on a natural quiet but busy life style in complete immersion. I either play this way, or literally a single apartment in a urban area and live quietly. Socializing is a choice and I do so, with my sim if I feel incline to but doesn't come of forced and I need it that way for my play style. I have a lot of mods that slow or remove social decay. Life simulator games for me is a way to have a quiet space with my creativity. I love building and dressing and making my sims also. With all this said, what I am seeing in this video is a lot of stuff I crave, the actual task of needing to clean, getting in traffic, needing to wash the clothes, being able to directly control the inzoi. All of this and the perfect character creator and amazing personality system. These are all A+ for me and what I've wanted for so long or seek modding to add to the game. However what I also see is all the things I hate from sims. The pop ups, emotes during social actions and over exaggerated or overly cutesy social actions, the multitasking managing the world and cities and people a bit too much, the lack of a country side and being force to mostly be in cities, the social climbing, the city skyline aspects. There's too many things to manage, that distract from what I want to actual enjoy. I can see myself playing this game for a few hours and then immediately getting burned out or overly stimulated from too much pressure to do too many things I don't want to do. Thank you for making this video, as I think I have enough information to realize sadly this game not for me overall, or at least I can't enjoy it too long. I'm probably still going to buy it for all they have done anyway, and just be in awe of this game and make my characters look perfect. I applaud what the creators have done here and I want something better then the sims. I'm rooting for this company, but it looks like paralives will be my go to in the end because of the game play being less multitasking and less social pressure.

TS4 is too slow for me and im not creative so i dont make stories. Theres no preexisiting lore or many places to go so im always just on and off the game im not always sure what to do in the game. But good news for your playstyle, if your computer can handle it inzoi is dropping a character creator demo for like a week. Im gonna try it even tho i dont do cas much (i just go with the premade sim it gives me and pick one outfit) i wanna see what its like. That should at least give some experience with the game without having to go into the world which would probably feel intense
I’m super excited for this game.. coming from someone who started with sims 1 and go to open world in S3 and then it being taken away and watered down, including all the various packs that you’d have to buy to even get to THIS level of a game, I’m def really for a new experience with life simulation gaming

@@aniyahlofton you can’t. He said you can see what you like then go home and get it in buy mode. You can’t buy it directly from the furniture store. When he clicks stuff, the options are just to use the furniture (sit on it, lay on it, etc.)

Honestly a mod could probably fix that depending on how you access the shop. It depends on the creator's support for mods and how the game is structured more generally.
I loved it, I believe that this game in the coming years will be the biggest and best life simulator that has ever existed but I hope they improve in some aspects, the game should be much more challenging, it seems that it is very easy to make friends, date, there are no consequences when you run over an npc or a vehicle, it would be really cool if they called the police, or the ambulance if you ran over an npc... the physics of the dolls, they seem to have no weight at all because they move very fast, when climbing the stairs they don't follow the steps, it should be like GTA V for example... and if they also added multitasking in the future it would be really cool, like eating while talking on the phone, relaxing in bed while talking on the phone, watching TV while eating... I think they should improve these and other gameplays in the future, the game has great potential ❤❤❤
Yeah it looks like you, the characters look amazing from what i've seen and they look like actual people. It's the cleanest character creator i've seen on a life sim. Can you imagine with mods to add even more details like tattoos.
If they add custom content/modding that'll sell me on it tbh. I love making my own items as well as seeing what other users create. Games like this serve as a great base for user-created content.

The Sims 1 is still the best Sims IMO. Everything after that was a disappointment. I still play modded Sims 1 on my Steam Deck.

InZOI has adversity, but no diversity. Everything is Korean-centric which kills the immersion for me.

I loved sims2 (not so much 3) and hated sims4 also. But what I hated about sims4 wasn't that wasn't pretty enough - it lacked depth. I've been looking and this video offered the most about what there actually is to do in this game, but it seems surface to me. I don't think there's enough to do and am afraid I would get bored quickly, the same way I did when sims4 came out. Curious what you disliked about sims4 and where this game seems better?

The koreans don't play when it comes to games, there's never any lying in their advertising from what I've seen unlike western companies. Such as Pearl Abyss and other companies based in Korea, what you see is what you get. Thats why I'm so excited for alot of new Korean games dropping.

Those are people probably playing on the minimum specs. The recommended specs is an i7 processor with at least 16gb of ram.

It’s made on Unreal Engine 5, there is absolutely no reason to worry about the graphics. UE5 is the best and most powerful game engine ever made, with the most realistic graphics ever seen in any media. Pretty cool lol

To be fair, I'm really happy that there is finally some real competitors to the Sims that start to exist... maybe that will push EA/Maxis to stop just making the same game (with less details) and then sell the same DLC over and over again... but in the same time, I'm feel like all those Sims like games we start to see all try to be "ultra realistic" and I think that might be a problem for these game in the long run, with the ultra realistic you can loose the "fantastical" aspect of the sims that help create some fun story for your character
I really wish that if they add DLCs they are well done and add those fantastical aspects, and are not just some 1+ extra job, 10+ extra clothes, pets, etc at full game price.
My issue with Sims isn't the cartoonish look of it. It is the fact that they took away all challenge or fun in the game because they want to appeal to children. The original Sims games were supposed to be for young adults. They were not politically correct or easy which is what made them so fun.
This is made with the unreal engine so modding will be substantially easier than with the Sims. I can guarantee modders will have every possible sims expansion pack in this game within a few months for free.
Nice review! Your characters are so good looking. And about being a mid builder (I’m mid too 😭) there are several house presets that you can choose and then make your own interior design. It’s nice for people who is not good in building houses.
I was worried we couldn't make black characters when I looked at the first trailer. Came back recently and happy to see it was just a worry.

I have almost all of the DLC for Sims 4 but I stopped playing. I am done with EA and their greed once they added the shopping cart I said I'm done with Sims forever. No Sims 5 for me. I need a Sims replacement I've been dying to build something!!! Inzoi is my only hope! I have a gaming pc that can handle a lot so I'm ready for the higher demand on graphics!!!! I will update my graphics card if I have to! I'm on a 3060 will go to 4070 if I have to if this game is that good I will do it.
I'm still watching this video, one thing I wanted to add was that it doesn't look like I'll need mods to carry me through a boring game! With Sims 4 we HEAVILY relied on mods to make the game interesting! I am so happy to see this video right now!

I hope they leave the vacuuming the driveway thing because it reminds me of the charming and goofy stuff that the sims has always had. But I understand wanting it removed for the sake of immersion. This video was super helpful and talked in depth about mechanics and details I haven’t previously heard about before.
Thank you for your video man. This helps a lot but still, I'mma have to mod this game to suit my playstyle, because this just confirms even more what I felt from other videos I watched. However this does show me everything I could ever want even more. So let me break it down and explain.
I'm autistic and introvert, and very creative person. I have my own characters over years and writings and stories I've kept with me all this time. I can easily burn out or be over stimulated when playing games that is too much busy work/multitasking. As this will over whelm me or distract from what I love to do. However I love details , obsessively so. When i play sims I will make a self insert sims and then populate the town or country side with my characters over the years along with townies.
I basically play one house hold exclusively, and immerse myself with just that house hold and interact with my others characters and world from the one house hold and the sim that is my self insert. The game becomes a comfort game, very cozy for me and place I can unwind. My sim is an artist and introvert but very loving in relationships, so I don't have and can't deal with too much social pressure and games like these are a lovely break from that. In my current sims 4 game, my sim lives on the ranch with his spouse , two dogs, two cats, two horses, cow, two chicken coups and a farm. This life is busy but in a natural nature focus way, so it doesn't overwhelm me.
What actually does is the pop up social messages, events, holidays, and just constant notifications and achievements. As I just want to focus on a natural quiet but busy life style in complete immersion. I either play this way, or literally a single apartment in a urban area and live quietly. Socializing is a choice and I do so, with my sim if I feel incline to but doesn't come of forced and I need it that way for my play style. I have a lot of mods that slow or remove social decay. Life simulator games for me is a way to have a quiet space with my creativity. I love building and dressing and making my sims also. With all this said, what I am seeing in this video is a lot of stuff I crave, the actual task of needing to clean, getting in traffic, needing to wash the clothes, being able to directly control the inzoi.
All of this and the perfect character creator and amazing personality system. These are all A+ for me and what I've wanted for so long or seek modding to add to the game. However what I also see is all the things I hate from sims. The pop ups, emotes during social actions and over exaggerated or overly cutesy social actions, the multitasking managing the world and cities and people a bit too much, the lack of a country side and being force to mostly be in cities, the social climbing, the city skyline aspects. There's too many things to manage, that distract from what I want to actual enjoy. I can see myself playing this game for a few hours and then immediately getting burned out or overly stimulated from too much pressure to do too many things I don't want to do.
Thank you for making this video, as I think I have enough information to realize sadly this game not for me overall, or at least I can't enjoy it too long. I'm probably still going to buy it for all they have done anyway, and just be in awe of this game and make my characters look perfect. I applaud what the creators have done here and I want something better then the sims. I'm rooting for this company, but it looks like paralives will be my go to in the end because of the game play being less multitasking and less social pressure.

TS4 is too slow for me and im not creative so i dont make stories. Theres no preexisiting lore or many places to go so im always just on and off the game im not always sure what to do in the game. But good news for your playstyle, if your computer can handle it inzoi is dropping a character creator demo for like a week. Im gonna try it even tho i dont do cas much (i just go with the premade sim it gives me and pick one outfit) i wanna see what its like. That should at least give some experience with the game without having to go into the world which would probably feel intense

@@aniyahlofton you can’t. He said you can see what you like then go home and get it in buy mode. You can’t buy it directly from the furniture store. When he clicks stuff, the options are just to use the furniture (sit on it, lay on it, etc.)

Honestly a mod could probably fix that depending on how you access the shop. It depends on the creator's support for mods and how the game is structured more generally.
I loved it, I believe that this game in the coming years will be the biggest and best life simulator that has ever existed but I hope they improve in some aspects, the game should be much more challenging, it seems that it is very easy to make friends, date, there are no consequences when you run over an npc or a vehicle, it would be really cool if they called the police, or the ambulance if you ran over an npc... the physics of the dolls, they seem to have no weight at all because they move very fast, when climbing the stairs they don't follow the steps, it should be like GTA V for example... and if they also added multitasking in the future it would be really cool, like eating while talking on the phone, relaxing in bed while talking on the phone, watching TV while eating... I think they should improve these and other gameplays in the future, the game has great potential ❤❤❤

Yeah it looks like you, the characters look amazing from what i've seen and they look like actual people. It's the cleanest character creator i've seen on a life sim. Can you imagine with mods to add even more details like tattoos.
If they add custom content/modding that'll sell me on it tbh. I love making my own items as well as seeing what other users create. Games like this serve as a great base for user-created content.
