Absolutely. Make note of the mistake. And move on. Don’t waste time on the past but try to create that primer that noticed the slip earlier. Repent! And return to the Father. Happy New Year friend!
I finished 2023 stronger than I have been in any year previous (currently 40 years old). I was trying to decide to start the year with Dan Johns 10k swing challenge or running Rite of Passage with a 32kg bell. I flipped a coin and RoP got the go.
Great advice. I”ve had weekly anchor point for kettlebell swings for the last couple years. The kettlebell swing is the best strength/cardio exercise for which to have a daily frequency goal. Can’t think of a better compound movement you can do literally every day at a decent volume without burning yourself out.
I like how instead of just giving people some random workout plan for the new year, youre giving life advice that can help in more facets of life than just fitness and facilitate a healthy lifestyle and make it easier to incorporate fitness into our lives, ive watched a million fitness and diet videos over the years and tried and failed, but ive started smaller and tried to focus on consistency instead of trying so hard and it seems to be working i hope this year itll be a change for the better!
I think that’s the secret sauce. It’s easy to get excited about workouts, equipment, supplements etc. But if you don’t get a handle on your life’s commitments then none of it matters. Good luck to you. Make a framework that makes sense for your specific daily life.
I was solid with my 100 swings, plus other cardio/strength training… then the holidays hit! I work at the post office.. and when the holidays hit.. that’s all we do is work… back at it now! 💪🏻
2023 was the most consistent protein intake and workout year I have ever had. I am seeing results I never saw in my twenties. I am no where near where I want to be but I am seeing what consistency does. Also in the latter half of the year I started a kettlebell program that is ballooned from one day a week up to 3 days a week. I'm very happy with how that's going. What didn't go so well is the Calories crept up 8n December. However, i ramped up the gym in December as well.
What went well in 2023? What’s going to go much more better in 2024??
I did well in 2023 up until Thanksgiving with daily exercise. I just have to forgive myself and move on. I know what works for me. Just gotta do it!
Happy New Year by the way!

2023 went well for me. Lost 44 lbs body fat and added 12 lbs of muscle. Goal this year? Drop 10 more lbs fat and add 5 lbs muscle.
Winner. Winner. Chicken. Dinner. That’s awesome. Keep at it champ!

Sounds like a good plan. At this stage almost any plan executed consistently will be life changing for most. Enjoy that 32kg!

Absolutely agreed.

Caloric uptake in December should be celebrated! Most exciting time of the year calorie wise haha.
Thank you. Seriously.
Much more better is what I say often
I’m glad we agree.
