I’ve never seen a dog jump like Logan does. Those long legs certainly have a lot of spring in them. Pity his master didn’t match him, haha. Lovely pond. Another one I’m not familiar with, although I lived in that area, at Sowley in fact. Quaint little bus stop, but buses were very few and far between. John Ilsley lived just down the lane from Sowley farm where I worked. Lovely man, always stopped and spoke to us as he passed by.
Thanks for taking the time and effort doing these videos. I stayed at Norleywood Youth Hostel in 1974 (I was only 13 at the time) and spent several days there with two school friends. On one occasion we walked to Lymington, hopped on the ferry to Yarmouth and continued to Alum Bay and then walked all the way back again, This was the only time I saw a red squirrel - on the Isle of Wight. Sadly I believe the youth hostel at Norleywood closed several years ago. Hope make many more videos - they are very enjoyable.
Another great video/walk, especially like the snippets of history and local information. Thanks Dave, and Logan, looking forward to seeing you on your next adventure.

Thanks again Dave. I'm in that area next week visiting family. I will take my Dad out for some "research purposes"
Ah yes , vital to do plenty of "research" at the various hostelries!
Another interesting walk which will add to the list to do sometime in the future.
Thanks Nigel. It makes for a good "Summer" walk.
@@DaveFord That's what I thought Dave. My walking group doesn't like the mud and floods!
Love Logan. Would be great to see him off lead having a zoomie run one day.
Thanks Donna. Yes - I will put some "Whippet run" action is some of the future videos!
I think the sting in the tail in March was an under-statement!!
Oh yes.... it was a different world then!
