I think you've cracked it Meg. People around you to keep it light and you relaxed. An amazing support group that takes care of the little things which lessens the load so you can concentrate on yourself and what you need to do ( and that incliudes a sports pshychologist to keep you mindful ). Pete's Eats for comic relief and yummy food. It all comes together to steady your nerves and gives you the confidence to go out and get it. Since this has been happening you have been able to achieve amazing progress. I am so proud of you and your team.

Those flying changes, though!! :D I've always had a soft spot for Jam, her conformation may not be conventional but you've really been nurturing her talent and showing that hard work can pay off anyway! As a classical musician who suffers from anxiety, watching your own journey has really resonated with me as well, there can be a lot of bumps on the road after having a particular experience but this win shows that you do have the grit in you. Has been so wonderful to see your rides on other horses recently and trying out new things is a fantastic way to broaden your experience so you can take new approaches and views back to your eventing.

I had an accident a while ago and was so scared to jump anything bigger than 70cm since but a few days ago I finally jumped 90 again without panicking and interfering which is a huge step and have finally found my love for jumping again 🥰

Megan I’m having issues with my riding , I’m scared to jump anything and I don’t know what I’m scared about . I’m not scared to fall or get hurt .. I’m scared of something but don’t know what , how’d you get over this ?
You need to truly trust your mounts and not let your fears keep holding the two of you back, esp. when it comes to your time on XC courses. You have 2 beautiful, courageous & quite talented Connemara ponies and now a young horse w/great potential, so you need to keep your head clean and confidant. Don’t worry so much on the “what ifs” that could happen while doing any eventing area.. You will have much more time to do this AFTER your competition has completed than during any competition IF there were some “penalties” in any eventing area.
