'Course walks with Emily' needs to be a separate service people can subscribe to. I'm not even an eventer and actually fully gave up jumping years ago because I lost the nerve... and her course walks honestly make this dressage queen think I could go over little sticks again. She's so positive, so realistic, and comforting. Love that you share her input with us. She doesn't even seem that old to have so much confidence but love it! Congrats on a well-deserved 3rd!!
Em gives such sensible advice during the xc course walk. She brings every jump down to a level that she knows you can jump, she never makes a comment to put you off a jump, even the dodgy one round the tree. And you jumped it perfectly. You are right you do have a dream team, your mum is one in a million she works so hard for you, just awe inspiring, and even Han arrived so soon after surgery to lend a hand. Well done for coming 3rd, you really should stop knocking yourself, you are so much better than you give yourself credit for, and Jam is spectacular.
You know, Meg, I think that's the best I've seen you ride! Very little pulling, and OMG you rode that corner combo like an Olympian! Jammy simply ate that course up. I think that perhaps she gets bored with 90s, but this full-up 100 got her respect and she paid attention to it--and to you! CONGRATS!!!
Emily is one of the few who has gotten Meg up to this point again, her "just get it done" attitude towards these scarier jumps is such a confidence boosting thing. Meg is honest about being nervous about a specific jump and Em is just like "what makes this any different?" Meg has lost a lot of confidence and seeing her rebuild it is going to make her a better rider because she won't be as risky but won't hold as much. I'm excited to see her get to that point.
You should watch Pete's slow-mo footing carefully. Jam jumps the 100 easily and she can make the strides when you don't pull. Jam wants to give you more... Just take it!
So chuffed for you Meg! Ignore the nasties a horse doesn’t know it’s ‘potential’, or even care if they reach it they just need food, care and to enjoy what they enjoy doing most which jam clearly does! She gives you her all and tries her hardest to keep you both safe that’s the best feather in your cap to have having produced her yourself 🤍
Pete is really coming into his own--the boy is talented! What kismet to have found something he is so good at when I'm SURE he never in a million years thought, when he was at uni doing geology, that this would be in his future! 🙂
Meg your growth this past year has been incredible! I am so thrilled for you & the team! Emily’s course walk is epic, Hobbit’s commentary is legendary and your riding is insanely good! WELL DONE MEG & JAMMY ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great job jumping such a challenging course! Jam was eating it up. Pete’s camera work has really put your vlog up to the next level, kudos to him. And how wonderful your mum is!
Congratulations 🎉 Jam definitely LOVES cross country. Her whole body shows it. She enjoys jumping as well, she is so keen. She does the dressage for you, but it's not her "thing" lol. Cross country is definitely her "jam". 💛
Big kudos to you Meg, for tackling the 100 in the first place. Then to come 3rd is amazing! Loved Hobbits commentary, Pete’s excellent photography, your improvement in the ‘not pulling’ department, and your gorgeous, brave and honest pony! Well done.
Brilliant vlog, Meg 🥳 - all the filming & commentary was totally awesome, Pete's slow-mo was excellent🎉. Meg you rode brilliantly - fantastic result👏👏👏🎉 Jam is such a legend - some of the angles in the cross-country were insane!!!! Emily's cross-country course-walk commentary was fab, she's a gem. You did it Meg!!! What an achievement. You so deserve your place at Badders, after a tough and inspiring journey. You rock!!!! A shout out to your support team, Hobbit, Peter, Han, Emily and all those encouragers who helped you on your journey🤗❤
Epic to the core!!! You've all worked so hard and deserved every bit of that win!!! This content is amazing 🤩! Thanks for the sweet outro! We all love Jammy and it's wonderful to see her come home safe and treated like the swan that she is!!! Hugs and big Congrats Meg!!!!!
Omg meg! I am so proud of you, especially after Bicton that you went. Crushed at badders and now qualifying for the 100s! Love you meg and good luck to you . Also love the Em cameo!
She looks incredible,,, definitely living her best life,, ears pricked and flying over the show jumps and x-country.. wow she looks so fit and strong,, well done Meg that is dedication and hard work to produce her to this level!! Congratulations 😊 I love all your videos, thank you!!
It’s not what you know it’s who you know!! Emily course walk is soooo good and you can tell how you react and seem to have more confidence in crewing the fat in every jump. Congrats great team work, epic riding. Super proud from someone you don’t know - classic!!!!
Congratulations Meg. My girls and I have been watching you for a few years now from NZ. You are very inspiring. You aced that xcountry corner. Pete's jumping footage is gorgeous
Congratulations, well done to you both. I so enjoyed watching this. I’m now 54 years old, I’ve not ridden for a long time. Unfortunately due to cancer, that has now evaded my bones and lungs. I had rode competitively years ago. I have my first lesson back on a horse next week. I am so looking forward to it. But in the meantime watching you, gives me so much pleasure and enjoyment, Thank you, Susan
Wow-eeee!!! Jam Ban the gorgeous flying machine. Her knees in the showjumping ❤ That cross country was epic. You and Jammy did amazing. Well done to you both and the dream team with you ❤❤❤
This is the best cross country ride we’ve seen from you in months! Fantastic especially considering this was such a big technical track! You rode safely and carefully, but you pulled so much less and rode more forward than you have been! Great job 👏🏻
Meg, you Jam were just marvelous, did a fantastic course, just need to chill a lil more. So glad your friend toured the course with you, she is so positive & gives you that boost & reassurance that you need to confirm your strength. Love the slow motion done by your sweetie, he is a gem, did wonderful photo session. CONGRATULATIONS MEG & JAM & OF COURSE YOUR TEAM THAT HELPED & CHEERED YOU. I LOVED IT ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
I know you are a bit leary of some things, and a bit worried about the bigger fences, but jimminy crickets Meg, you made it look like a cake walk. EASY PEASY! I think you need not worry so much and you've got Badders in your pocket. Go Meg! Great video.
Soooo excited for you, congratulations ! Jammie the best little unicorn Pegasus ever just flew for you. You rode awesome and both looked fantastic (being a rider myself funny how the feeling feels different how you look on the ground ). Relax and enjoy this prep for B100!!
I was very nervous of the jumps during the course walk (thank goodness I wasn't riding, I'd have been running away so fast!!) and Jam just pops around like the jumps were nothing!!! She's an utter legend!! 🌟🌟💖💖
It's been a joy to watch this vlog and think about how far you've come this year, Meg. Congrats to you and Jam (and Dee), and your incredible team, on a super successful season. Thanks for taking us along.
Great result for the end of the season. Your connection to Jam is amazing. You are making good steps forward re not pulling quite so much and putting a bit more faith in her ability. She can do it.... Great team effort. Well done everyone.
Just so proud of you and jam ive followed you for years now and watched you grow so amazed how far you have come good job well done you rode it all brilliantly❤
What an amazing season you had! Would love to see a season wrap up. And can’t wait to see how Winnie‘s training is going and how it‘s going with the horse hunt! I‘ve been watching your videos since the beginning and it‘s absolutely AMAZING how far you‘ve come. I love every video that you are doing here even though I don’t even have a horse (can’t do it time-wise) and haven’t been riding in YEARS. You make me want to start again!
WOO off to Badders! 🤩 What a clever pony! And your riding was amazing! You said you were pulling a lot but when I was watching it I thought that you were pulling a lot less than a couple months ago!
Hi Meg, Congratulations and Well Done. Jammie was incredible and I think you rode better than ever before. I definitely think that this was the best round you have ridden for a long time. Fantastic job. Lovely to see the dream team back in action as well. Lots of love to all. Jill U.k. XXXXXXXXX
Congratulations Meg and Jam. I love watching Emily’s insight on your course walks. Get well soon Han. I’m excited to watch your Badminton vlogs. Thanks xxx
well done to both of you!! loved the event vlog as usual, also the video of jam in her stable and in the field after coming home gave such a nice vibe :)
Well done Meg that’s so amazing. Your my literal idol I currently showjump my pony at 100 but one day I would love to try eventing at 90 or even 100. In so proud of how you have come in just a year I can’t wait to watch yours and jams progress xxx❤
Oh my gosh, my heart was in my mouth, watching you do that cross country! You did such a fantastic job! So very proud of you and Jammy! She is awesome! What a pony! ❤❤❤
Ahh wow what an amazing result for you and Jammy! Well done, you have come so far and you both looked fabulous! How lovely that Han came too, although she looked so pale I was worried she was going to faint! Congratulations again 🥰
Absolutely smashed it Meg! Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 Jammy made that track look easy peasey, you've got no worries with that mare. All the fingers and toes crossed for 100 @ Badders 2024!
Nice riding Meg! And Jam is a superstar and a real event horse! A little rub early on can be your best friend. You rode forward to several cross country jumps. Look at the footage of the table; beautiful! And you rode really effectively over the coup combination because she wasn't expecting a B element, but you supported her to it really well. Love a Hobbit voice over and huge congrats!! Oh and thrilled you're demoing with Richard. I've ridden with him and for me, there's no bigger confidence booster. Love Emily's input too!
watching you has brought me so much confidence and joy. just seeing you get your confidence back has really made me motivated to keep working with my horse and learning to jump just like you. you bring me so much joy and confidence thank you dee and jam are so fortunate to have such an amazing owner and eventing partner. ❤
omg watching you jump and loose confidence and get it back makes me so motivated to still try my hardest and work with my horse to learn to jump and event and do it all. you have given me so much confidence and motivation i love watching you sm. i dream of being just like you.❤

Emily is fantastic! Such good advice.
Emily is a virtual kick up the backside, I love her! ❤
@@TheStroppymare43😂 so true! Love her brutal honesty!
If you're in the UK, I'm sure that Emily could be available for a course walk if you do ever fancy jumping again 🙂
Second this, love watching course walks and Emily's attitude is really great

Thank you for your kind words 🙂We're so lucky to be surrounded by wonderful people, none of this would be possible without all the support x
Jam is a horse that every amateur rider deserves to have once in a lifetime! She makes dreams come true! Congrats on qualifying for 100! 🎉🎉🎉
She really does make dreams come true 🥹
You know, Meg, I think that's the best I've seen you ride! Very little pulling, and OMG you rode that corner combo like an Olympian! Jammy simply ate that course up. Anyone else just love Emily for Meg
Emily is awesome! ❤

I love how the XC is so scary that Meg is barely worried about the show jumping! 👏👏
Hahaha so true 😂
Hobbit’s commentary through your dressage will always be the cutest thing ever haha! Well done x
Congratulations so much on your stellar results. Your partnership with Jam is something dreams are made of.
So chuffed for you Meg!
