sadly, this is the way most movies are made now. many times the actor isn't even with the other actor(s) they are supposedly talking to. they just edit them into the scene later. I've read that some reviewer complained that most of the jokes are already in the trailer but I strongly disagree. Thor on the chains and the other dozen scenes not shown in any of the trailer easily outdid those known jokes. Tessa Thompson walking down her ship... the whole cinema was in tears.
The first 2 Thor movies were pretty boring, but I saw this yesterday and it was honestly one of the FUNNIEST movies I've ever seen, as well as a great story and animations. Extremely well done.
Watch the scene in Thor 2 where Thor was piloting a dark elf's ship while Loki was talking non-stop. Come back again and tell me that scene was boring.
Watched this on opening day, and it's probably my favourite MCU film by far atm. Equal parts hilarious AND epic! Be sure to watch for director Taika Waititi playing Korg, he was absolutely brilliant.

i like how even though this movie is one of the most fantastical looking of the mcu, the sets look very cheap. if the sets are cheap, that's a good use of design and budget
not saying that it is. it probably costed several millions. im saying it probably is cheaper than the physical sets for guardians of the galaxy. the physical sets for guardians looks close to what it does in the movie, while the physical sets in this movie look plastic and unfinished but is glossy and high tech looking after post production there's not much difference between doing either because the physical sets are meant to give the actors context for scenes but if you looked at the screenshots, you'd think the movie is cheap looking lol

Every Marvel movie has funny moments. Just because a cast member calls it funny doesn't mean its going to be a comedy movie
