I've been in this situation. It's honestly just a symptom of how our screwed up our society is and how we fail to build any meaningful connections, its a creeping problem that will only get worse and people only try to fix it once it's too late.
The callers on the other end should have had a conference call faux pas: toilet flushing, do I have time to get dressed before the noon conference call, why does it taste like pineapples today, etc.
What was the point at the end? They actually do like each other...or they just gonna hook up one last time and never talk again? Please help. My essay on this is due tomorrow.
Haha they are in the never ending loop of a relationship of convenience. Don’t like each other to commit, don’t dislike each other enough to put in the work to find someone else. They are in relationship purgatory. Hope that helps for the essay!
Oh the banality of existence! There is something almost Beckett like about this albeit more light hearted. Maybe the person late for the conference call should have been called Godot. 🙂
They both realized they were just each other and if they can't love themselves who can they love. Or maybe that you shouldn't date yourself, I'm not sure which.
this almost feels like I'm watching an actual conversation
That’s the goal!

Shockingly funny skit for the views and subs, y'all have a bead on a good thing. Keep going at it, imo
Hey thanks ! Appreciate it
I get it , but hey a conference call mishap would have really been the cherry on top of this one.
that'd be too expected and dull
@@longebane Nah , be hell funny.
could have been another option - but we decided to keep it a little more grounded in the two main characters. thanks for watching!
It's the most obvious direction to go in. Glad they didn't.
