In these times of Corona, plug up your device to the Bluetooth devices and big screen TV , twitch around and have a good time with Banned from Utah .... This is as close as you can get to a live performance.
Wally, Ray, Tom, Ed, Bobby, your regular cast of characters (No Napoleon, btw).Great to see them all alive and well. Only complaint, they should have played at night. Grey and drab, hard to see. Sounds great, but the music without the zanny master of ceremonies will always fall short. RIP
I asked the poster to correct the list of musicians, as I also noted there isn't Napolean. Maybe he'll get to it. - Evelyn was a modified dog (arf, she said).
What's up with Denny's guitar 12 tuning pegs but 6 strings Mats is just Amazing on the keys!!!!!!!!!!!! Tom Fowler was on Fire!!!!!!!!!! Ray, Robert, and Ike sound amazing!!!!!!!!!
They pushed my keyboards back away from the rain right before we started, and knocked out my laptop power plug in the process, but no one knew. So the battery finally died in the middle of Robbie's great solo!
@@multimartinmusic10 well yeah i knew it was ray on the front but i thought there was a mistake in the feat names. wait a minute so if ike is here 1:40:27 does it mean that napoleon is playing saxophone the whole gig and i haven't recognized him ? if it is so he has changed a lot i'm confused. but you guys still have the mojo and still are the best !
I think that's because of missing percussions, a missing second keyboard player, shitty weather and perhaps not enough rehearsals for the drummer. I might be wrong but Robert Martin definetly needs a (keyboard playing) companion in that band.
@@hadmyfill8179 Absolutely. Seeing as how these are Zappa Alumni and they aint youngsters anymore I can forgive them the odd time slip/bum note. I'm a guitarist and been a Zappa fan both for 40 years and I love this, doesn't bug me at all.
The drummer is mediocre...I don't like Robbie Mangano...never have...and where the hell is Napoleon Murphy Brock and Ed Mann as listed in the intro credits!?! This is a pretty sloppy and uninspiring performance.
Considering how really good this is, not to mention that you didn't have to brave the cold and rain to watch and listen to this like the paying audience did, I think you are one ungrateful little shit.
@@ProgBartleby You're a very bad prog the bear. Go away! LOL Okay proggy 🐻. I'm less angry now. Lol What don't you like about Robbie? Is it that he's better than you or that he's onstage with FZ's alum and you're not? LMAO
Bobby Martin the star of the show, no doubt about it. The man is, what 70+ years old, and still hit those pitches like it was yesterday. What an hero!
Yeah, he's a badass. Guess it pays off to be in great shape when you're younger.
Bobby never stop!
very long time friend of mine met when he played keys for Etta James

Very, Very good! Thank you and long live FZ!
Best lead guitarist theyve EVER had in my opinion! Channeling Zappa there man! Shit the bed!
I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED ZAPPA.
The masses slip into oblivion....and then there is Frank Zappa!
Thanks
Robbie "The Show Stealer" Mangano on lead guitar.

Nobody mentioned Tom Fowler on bass? Jesus.....
For me, Tom Fowler has always been the anchor of Zappa bands. Vastly overlooked.
Totally amazing, loved him!
What can be said? Another highly talented member of the Fowler family.
moo-aaah
Bitchin guitar guy , of course the the old boys are special but was wondering is that Steve V, had to check, such positive music

Mike and Ike?!
