  • Sky timelapse of just over 6 hours with each image being a 1 minute exposure. The bright star near the top at the start is Polaris, the north star. Telescope mount is fixed and non-tracking.
Telescope: Celestron Starsense Explorer Lt 114az (cheap 4 1/2" reflector)
Camera: Basler Ace acA1920-40um camera (1/1.2" Sony IMX249 sensor)
    Software: SharpCap 4.1 from www.sharpcap.c...
Alignment assist by SVBONY laser collimator, focus on Polaris aided by diffractive Bahtinov focus mask.
In my opinion, the Basler camera is a professional level device and the Sharpcap live-stack software is quite powerful. This specific under-$100-from-eBay telescope, by contrast, is neither of those things.
