It really is insane how good the EA888.3 motor is to taking to mods! It’s going on what, 10 years old now, at least here in the States?! Just a few mods on this car (turbo, fueling, DP, intake, intercooler, TIP, tune), which all-in, costs less than $5k, and it’s taking on brand new $100k+ vehicles! Insane motor and even better, the price of mods are fairly reasonable considering mods on a new FL5 CTR cost Porsche level pricing!!! Like 3-5x+ more than what the mods in our MK7/7.5’s cost!
Yeah all in all, it's going down in history books as one of the greatest cars ever imo. And besides performance, it has everything else as well. Quality, comfort, daily drivability.. Anyone who has a nice example should keep it.

I’m making 522fwhp on my mk7 gti clubsport.. on street it’s hard to beat on a roll . I’ve been beaten but the cars had 300-400hp more. But the fact I drive it daily to and from work sets it apart from other cars

Get the a3… I tuned mine about a month ago, and it’s night and day, I’m putting down so much torque that unless the road is perfectly dry… I’ll spin all 4’s 😂 I measured a 4.3 0-60 with basically no wheel spin

I'd rather see races from a dig. Your likely running a much larger turbo than most regular street cars would ever want to spool out of the hole. It's still impressive for a vw though.

Jewels is stock motor, these cars can hold 500whp on hybrid and e85 pretty reliably. Not gonna last forever but its not gonna instantly pop. People are crazy enough to run stock motors up to 600 lol
The is38 is a fun setup and you can make them pretty quick on E and custom tune. Hard to resist the urge to go big turbo though lol. Ive seen as high as 126-127 trap on ihi is38 and I have personally done 118 at 6000 feet elevation.
I have a forged mk7.5 r. The limit isn’t from hp it’s from torque idk why people aren’t saying that. Before I upgraded to forged rods and new pistons, I kept the torque at 420 as I read 450 in the max. Hp around 500. Once it has new rods you can up the torque. Xl vortex is good for 600. 93 pump gas
@ not according to my car and the owner of EQT tuning it lol. 38 psi it’s good for and 650hp from the owner himself. Typhoon gets you to 700+. In at 600 to be conservative lol. New rods allow for higher torque too.
BMW at 14:50 would cut out every time you started pulling… dudes like that are annoying af. They know they lost but cut the race prior to you passing so it doesn’t look like they lose Smdh
@peterb4143 That is true but it's a full on track vehicle for a specific purpose,it has to be that set up for that class...but still if engine size and numbers are the main focus then there are too many smaller displacement engine vehicles that are just as fast numbers wise...🤷 so yeah..
@@audiwankenobi361not really. Nothing touches a 11k hp v8 dragster lol. Also, more displacement = way less boost for same power. V8s can turn over 1000hp with under 20 lbs of boost. So yes, you can never replace displacement. These 4 cyl need well over 2x as much boost to crack 1000

@djsupahfly A Vortex XL isnt gonna make 600 wheel on 93 octane. It won't even make that on E85. Low 500s on E85 already takes ~13° ignition and 32 psi
