The only version I have heard on youtube so far that actually has correct timing. Not sloppy and not too much pedal. Thank you!!! And with the least comments of praise! Nevertheless people commenting on other videos with more views often said they had never heard this sonata before so that makes sense.
Honest direct playing that does not fuss with Haydn's unfussy writing. Preferable to the more romantic approaches to the slow movement which cheapen it.
