I totally agree, it's so worth spending a little extra money for better quality food. I love to buy tomatoes from Asda's extra special range because they have so much flavour & sweetness to them, it's like they've come straight from the greenhouse & they last for almost two weeks. And other fruits in their extra special range are similarly better quality.

After so many years in Spain, you are oficially "half-Spanish", so , what about learning to cook "torrijas" for Easter? Do you normaly

I cook a mixture. I do tortilla, lentejas, alubias, but also coronation chicken, sommerset pork. I also cook a lot of Italian food as my dad was Italian and I was brought up on pasta!

Thanks for these videos, very informative! We are possibly moving to Malaga next year and I'm doing my research. How much would you say you spend weekly on groceries? We are a family of 7 and I'm wondering how much food will cost in Spain. Thanks!

Food has gone up so much lately. We spend about 800 euros a month on food now and there’s 6 of us xxx

I won't shop at Aldi. Here in the UK at least, they treat their staff & delivery drivers like crap. And anyone who goes in with disabilities, like me, they won't give extra time to pack for. I asked on multiple occasions, telling them about my disability, but they kept going way too fast for me. I was left struggling to reach in to the trolley to pack my stuff up. And my brother who is a delivery driver ended up having to leave with a full truck because Aldi refused to unload their stuff off the truck. Due to insurance laws, delivery drivers are not allowed to unload other people's goods from the truck & Aldi refused to take their stuff off. They were really rude & obstructive. My brother's company no longer deliver to Aldi & they're not the only company. There's so much wasted food by Aldi when drivers are unable to unload things. Hopefully things are much better in other countries.
